24.01.2022 Yesterday Alana brought Pikachu and Eevee (named by her big brothers after Pokemon) her Grandma's 7 day old Bantam chicks in for shaw and share. Eevee and Pikachu’s mum, Ginger, also visited. They were so cute and fluffy to hold and Ginger was very soft too! Thank you for such and interesting and exciting show and share, Alana!

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December have been declared student free days. 24.01.2022 Yesterday our Student Leaders attended Young Leaders Day at the Brisbane Convention Centre. They heard inspirational messages from: ~ David Hurley (Australian Governor General) ~ Josh Pyke (Australian Singer/Songwriter & Author) ~ Anastasia Woolmer (Australian memory champion) ~ Darius Boyd (Rugby League player)... ~ Lachie Smart ( Youngest person to fly solo around the world) The students represented our school so well, and we look forward to seeing how their leadership skills develop throughout the year.
23.01.2022 5A and 5B students working hard in the computer lab this week converting their creative narrative pieces into a multi-modal presentations. They have been learning how to change a narrative poem into a narrative story.

18.01.2022 The school vegetable garden has a produced a bumper crop! Today Gardening Club picked 125 tomatoes and 25 eggplants, a few radishes and lots delicious herbs including- coriander, parsley, basil, rosemary, mint and pineapple sage. Cant wait until next term- the Gardening Club have big plans!

The teachers are looking forward to the chance to meet with parents to share how the children are doing in their classroom. We truly value the partnership between school and home. 08.01.2022 The Year 5 students had StarLab Education come visit today. A dome was set up in the hall for the students to enter and take part in a Space Presentation. The students have been learning about their Solar System in Term 3. It was a lovely way to end our unit of work.
