24.01.2022 Well that’s a Wrap Maximus is complete. De-Constructed Muscular abstract of an Andalusian Stallion with a Gladiatorial War Horse twist ... He’s off next week ...to be Galvanised dipped to fully preserve him for generations to come . - hes a de-constructed muscular abstract with hints on the anatomical features in the legs , Body & all the superficial muscle groups as best I could for a cage formation including the P3 laminal skin/ capsule - it’s a steel art abstract so it’s not everyone’s cup of tea - but one thing I have learned with any art ... there are no rules only imaginations - He was a good boy and again like Magico loved every minute of his 448 hour build .. Warmest of thanks to my great friend Adrian Devereux for letting me take up his forge for another horse build & to my amazing wife Susie Fennell for yet again being a sculptures widow Until the next time ... 14.01.2022 We've got wonderful news - Tumani and Okpara's infant has been born! This critically endangered western lowland gorilla was born in the morning hours of Sept...ember 4, 2020. Mother and infant are doing well! Animal care staff are closely monitoring the infant’s health to ensure that Tumani and baby are receiving the care needed. The World of Primates will be closed while Tumani, infant, and the troop bond. We anticipate reopening World of Primates as soon as animal care staff feel that mother and infant have properly bonded. All gorillas will have access to their outdoor habitat, so you may catch a glimpse of the new addition during your Zoo visit once World of Primates has reopened. #SavingSpecies
