25.01.2022 What a way to finish our last clinic for 2020 with very hot and windy conditions. A big thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, if it wasn’t for them our clinics wouldn’t happen. Thanks Caroline for doing our Facebook posts - you are one talented lady. Also, a big thank you to the vet practices who kindly help us with surgeries throughout the year. Thanks also to Applaws for donating dog food, Kim who makes beautiful blankets and other gifts for our clients and the generous people who have helped with transport and donated various things throughout the year. Lastly, thank you to our beautiful clients, to see the love they have for their dogs puts a big smile on our faces. We have formed friendships with so many of them and feel blessed to be able to help them. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from the Parramatta team xx

24.01.2022 What crazy weather we've been having! Thank goodness there was no wind and rain during Sunday's clinic! All went well with 17 dogs seen by our volunteer vet Dr Maureen and trainee vet nurse Taylor, who is currently studying vet nursing at TAFE. They kept busy doing health checks, tick/flea treatments and vaccinations. Some doggies also got pawdicures and little Trixi even got microchipped! Thank you to Kellie for donating 50 bags of yummy doggy treats from Kristine's K9 Kake...s & Treats and to Stepping Stones for stopping by with prepackaged meals of sausages and salad for everyone. Also, a big thank you to our volunteers for helping to make the clinic possible. We look forward to seeing our four-legged friends again next month. Until then, keep well and stay safe!

24.01.2022 One of our donation boxes has a home at Vets @ Acacia Gardens vet clinic, whose team - including vet nurse Paige pictured here - has been an amazing support to PITP and our clients over the years. As Japanese poet Ryunosuke Satoro said, "Individually we are one drop. Together we are an ocean." Thanks Vets @ Acacia Gardens.

24.01.2022 A shout out to Dachshunds In The Park members Rosie and her family Emma and Michael, and Maxie and her family Maria and Alexander for your generous donations of dog food for our clinic on Sunday. We thank you so very much for your support! 'Giving is not only about making a donation. It's about making a difference.' (author Kathy Calvin)

23.01.2022 Carla's furbabies Jack, Moquito and Chazana took a trip to the vet recently for a procedure that may sound painful but has many health benefits! Desexing! Thank you Dr Barbara Jameson and her amazing team at Vets @ Acacia Gardens for volunteering to do the procedures. We are grateful for your love and care, and so is Carla. PITP is committed to helping our clients care for their pets, including essential vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatment, and desexing.

22.01.2022 Our director Dr Mark Westman (aka Marky Mark) recently celebrated his birthday with a very special fundraiser for Pets in the Park and we all agree he is a super star! Marky Mark ran 175 km from Warners Bay to Patonga in 35 hours WITH NO SLEEP and raised $1675 to date to support our monthly clinics. He was accompanied by his friends Gerber and Sarah, and some others who dropped by along the way, who probably had no idea what they were getting themselves into.... Mark said, I figured what better way to celebrate a milestone than with my crazy running friends that help me feel normal, particularly as the world around us loses its mind! Mark and his friends are champions! If you’d like to donate, the fundraiser is continuing for a little while longer. Let's help him reach $2,000! https://bit.ly/32Tobav

22.01.2022 A HUGE thank you to our friends at Vets @ Acacia Gardens for taking such good care of our furry clients earlier this week. The amazing vet Dr Barbara and her team performed desexing procedures on Trixie and Skippy and some much needed dental extractions on little Skippy. Acacia Gardens Vet Hospital nurses Claire and Claire (similar surname too!) also gave us a box of pet food and monetary donations! We are blessed! ... Thank you also to our Parramatta clinic volunteers Caroline and Katie for transporting the dogs to and from the clinic. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. Margaret Mead

19.01.2022 Tomorrow is our clinic - looking forward to seeing our clients and their very loved dog/s

19.01.2022 Here are a few more photos of Skippy and Trixie last week recovering from desexing procedure at Vets @ Acacia Gardens. Skippy also had a dental with multiple teeth removed. You can see Trixie's before and after cherry eye repair. Trixie and Skippy must feel so much better now!

18.01.2022 THANK YOU to our friends at Great Western Animal Hospital for all the work they do for PITP. We don't know what we would do without you. Check out the photos of Ivy's 'before and after' dental scale and polish procedure. A work of art! A healthy smile is a beautiful smile!

10.01.2022 A big thank you to Kellyville Pets for hosting a donation box to help raise funds for our desexing program at Parramatta clinic. We have 13 dogs on the waiting list and every penny helps! Kellyville Pets staff member Josh kickstarted the fundraising with the first coin! Thank you Josh and the KP team for your support! Means a lot to us!

08.01.2022 We caught up with Mehran and his four-legged friends, Honey and Babry, at our last clinic. Babry couldn't wait to see Dr Maureen! Honey seemed a little wary of volunteer Caroline wearing a mask. Like, why she is wearing a muzzle? Don't worry, Honey. We don't bite! See you at the next clinic. ... #wearamasksavealife #staysafe #community #help #charity #love

07.01.2022 Tomorrow (May 30) is our next clinic! We look forward to seeing our clients and their furry friends!

05.01.2022 Thank you to the wonderful veterinary team at Vets @ Acacia Gardens for taking such good care of Gyzmo when she came in for desexing yesterday. And what a surprise to find a truck load of dog food donated by your wonderful clients and medications which will be so useful at our clinic! Thank you for always supporting us! Poor Gyzmo wasn't happy about wearing the 'cone of shame' on the way back home. Sorry girl. It will prevent you from pulling out the stitches! ... We will see you on Sunday. Until then, please rest and stay out of trouble

01.01.2022 A reminder our last clinic for 2020 is this Sunday from 12.15pm to 2.00pm. Looking forward to seeing our clients and their very loved dogs. We might have a few volunteers wearing Santa hats and handing out chocolates - sorry dogs not for you.

01.01.2022 It was great to have Trixie and her owner Maree with us on Sunday. Trixie was a little worried at first but she quickly realised she was in good hands with our vet Dr Maureen and trainee vet nurse Taylor. The sweet little pup became the proud owner of her very own microchip, which is compulsory in NSW. Good girl, Trixie!
