24.01.2022 If you loved Streets of Your Town, then don't miss Designing a Legacy, airing Tuesday 2 Febuary at 8:30pm on the ABC. Comedian and mid-century modernism aficionado Tim Ross takes us across Australia to meet the families whose lives have been shaped by the exceptional designs of their iconic homes.
23.01.2022 This Saturday, Sydney Living Museums will be conducting a tour of the first ever Pettit+Sevitt Courtyard House, built as part of the Pettit+Sevitt exhibition centre, which opened in St Ives in 1966. The tour will be joined by the architect of the house, Ken Woolley. Ken will discuss the key design principles of the home and share his 60 years experience as an architect, including his time working with Pettit+Sevitt, market leaders in the design of project homes in the 1960s and 70s. For those of you lucky enough to have tickets, enjoy! http://sydneylivingmuseums.com.au//pettit-sevitt-courtyard

21.01.2022 A great tribute to our founders Ron Sevitt and Brian Pettit in the latest issue of Domain, and the legendary architect Ken Woolley who designed most of our houses, including the new Lowline and Split Level. Some good quotes too from Val Sevitt and Colin Sevitt regarding the rebirth of Pettit+Sevitt and the current resurgence of interest in modernist architecture. Check it out here or look out for the glossy magazine in this weekend's Financial Review or Melbourne Age. https://www.domain.com.au//modernist-demand-sees-1960s-pr/

20.01.2022 Last week, we received the sad news that Brian Pettit passed away. Brian, with his business partner, Ron Sevitt, formed Pettit+Sevitt in 1961. Their close friendship and rapport was an important part of the formula that led to their success, and the now iconic status of the Pettit+Sevitt brand. Our thoughts are with the Pettit family at this sad time. Val, Colin and Carol Sevitt
