24.01.2022 Meet Faiza, when I met her she was experiencing lower back discomfort and pain from the simplest of exercises. So sumo deadlifts were OUT OF THE QUESTION! (That’s the exercise in the video) But Faiza really wanted to hip thrust and deadlift heavy, so we started on the 2 biggest issues preventing her from doing so:... - poor glute activity, and; - weak hip flexers. After 2 months of hard work you’re seeing her lift 60kg, which she smashed out after doing 70kg hip thrusts. WITH NO BACK PAIN AND ONLY FEELING HER BUTT & ABS! I am so freaking happy with the consistency and hard work she has been putting in, all whilst studying and working. Goals are never easy to achieve but she is smashing them every week! If you’re in the same boat as Faiza and looking to lift weights without pain, and actually see progress, then message us today... not tomorrow because you probably said that before.

23.01.2022 WE'RE BACK JUNE 8TH! We cannot wait to start on Monday with our first Lower Body & Core Strength workout at 6:30am: Ask about our 7 Day Trial! Now onto the serious stuff:... In order to recommence our community workouts and coaching at the two Goodlife Cannington locations we have had to make some changes with our group coaching timetable & workout variety. This is due to restrictions enforced by state government and some extras are to ensure we are going that extra mile. Changes that we've made to comply with guidelines: - Everyone MUST have a towel or you will be asked to leave, and refillable water bottles are recommended as drinking directly from the fountain will not be tolerated for health safety reasons. - All workouts will be held for a 1-hour block to ensure there is enough time to thoroughly clean the equipment before/after use. - Foam rollers and mats have been deemed "off limits" but you are welcome to bring your own from home. A large towel is also allowed if you do not have a mat :) - Boxing will only be provided to with maximum 2 members via private booking, and you MUST provide your own gloves, wraps and/or inners. - Active Recovery will combine the old Abs & Butt with our new stretching flow. - Fat Burn & Flow will combine moderate to high intense training to melt fat followed by our new stretching flow. - Hand sanitiser will be provided during all workouts for members to use when required. Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have regarding the safety of returning to the gym. We are here to help, educate and ensure you feel safe 100% of the time.



22.01.2022 THIS! This is what Coach Dan lives for! We welcomed a new member to the Flexer Family last week, and the results are already happening. What the below doesnt mention is that this Flexer lives with osteoarthritis in their knee which has begun causing referral pain in the connected hip and lower back.... So we dived straight in with an intensive pain management program first because lets face it, NO ONE wants to be in pain or uncomfortable when theyre trying to rest. What was intensive about it? All the work had to be done EVERY DAY, MORNING & NIGHT! Not when they felt like it or when they felt pain. This Flexer has done an amazing job sticking to our advise and guidance, and shes already feeling benefits. Congratulations for putting in the work and were so excited to introduce a 2-day a week strength program to compliment your bigger goal

17.01.2022 Sometimes whilst coaching I'll just watch the interactions between Flexers happen and a rush of happiness comes over me. I witness longstanding community members helping the newbies and everyone is motivating each other; whether it's verbal or just by pushing themselves to their best ability. The "can do" energy is there, and that is what makes for a satisfying workout. Knowing that you came in, possibly after a stressful day and still managed to prove to yourself that "I can... do it". The "I CAN" mentality is very big in the world of the Flexers, and if you don't feel like you can at the time "I'LL TRY" is your back up because all we can ask of you is that you try. We are all by your side as you get fitter, faster, stronger physically and mentally, and we will be the ones cheering as you accomplish things you never thought possible. 17.01.2022 Last week we put the Flexers through a Stairmaster relay to see who could get the furthest in the given time limit. A huge shout out to everyone who burned, pushed and delivered the goods. It was the 4:45pm crew that took out the top place with 527 steps, CONGRATS Em & Kinkini!

To help with this change we are launching PowerFlex Home which is an online coaching service which you will be provided programs based on the equipment you have available. PowerFlex Home will help promote positive mental and physical health with everyone.... Not only will you be provided programs but you will also be given the chance to regularly jump on board with video group workouts to help with any isolated feelings. We are stronger together so let's make the most of what we have available.

We will be tackling a dynamic range of exercise among our boxing rounds These exercises may be weighted, cardio based, explosive, who knows... what I do know is you will love it and hate it at the same time. Every Wednesday we reset the body and mind with individual-specific fascia therapy, rehab and preventative/conditioning exercises to help boost our body’s performance. We also focus on refreshing our mind in the second half of the session by turning the lights down low, focusing on breathing, lengthening our muscles and c...alming our minds.
