24.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM! Profile Number 8 = Joe Clark Describe a time you did something charitable. My family and I support a charity called Uganda Kids. This is a charity set up by my mother & father in law and is based around helping young Ugandan children finish school. Out family sponsor two primary school children by paying for school fees, a provided lunch at school and a uniform once a year. This sponsorship gives these children the opportunity to break the poverty cycle by gain...ing an education. It costs us $5 per fortnight to help change the lives of these lovely people. What skills/qualities do you possess that will be useful in Cambodia? It is hard not to think I have been invited to come solely because of my ability to hit a nail with a hammer, I do believe I will be able to make myself useful on the build days... See more

Perkins have contributed to the purchase of a cow (featured below - 555!). We also visited a family that had been positively affected by the program, as well as meeting a school class of roughly 5 year olds sing us several songs in English - an absolute highlight for all of us, we're going to miss these beautiful people,

09.01.2022 Two days of intense building, 24 houses, 116 people with a roof over their head (74 of which are children), a few black thumbs, 92% humidity, bamboo floors and 9 very inspired Perkins Group employees. A huge thank you to the Tabitha Foundation for allowing us to work with you and of course to our management team Dan Perkins and Darryl Lathwell for supporting such an important cause. More building spam to follow....
