24.01.2022 We all love a good news story. Michael from Wildcare Australia has been taking care of the injured Echidna found on camp. The Echidna has been given a clean bill of health and has been released back into the wild.

15.01.2022 CCAs Camp Fearless was held at PGL Kindilan, Redlands Bay QLD from 12-14 July. It was an amazing weekend for the teens living with Crohns disease and ulcerati...ve colitis who joined us for a fun three days of shared experiences, activities and making new friends. Our brave campers took part in activities that included launching themselves along a huge flying fox, archery and quick jumps (harnessed jump of a 12 metre high ledge)! They certainly were fearless!! A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers Tracey, Emma, Declan and Melissa who spent their entire weekend sharing their experiences and supporting the campers. We would also like to thank our camp sponsors, the Queensland Government for making this event possible.

13.01.2022 Refurbishment work on our Koombanda accommodation area is well underway and on track to be completed by Christmas. We are installing en suite bathrooms for the two leader rooms and powerpoints and USB chargers in every room for the comfort and convenience of our guests. Well also be replacing all the beds and painting the rooms so were really looking forward to our guests enjoying the new features in early 2020! Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas period and a fantastic star...t to 2020. Our offices are closed from 21st Dec to 2nd Jan.

11.01.2022 11 girls, 2 Leaders and one Mum from our District have arrived home from a week at State Camp where we celebrated 100 years of Guiding in Queensland with hundre...ds of fellow Trailblazers from all around the state. We camped with our Guiding sisters from the Wide Bay Region and had a ball each day creating lifelong memories, making new friends and trying lots of new activities. 03.01.2022 Recently at PGL Kindilan there have been two rare sightings of Echidnas. PGL staff member Woody came across an injured Echidna and called the Redlands Wildlife Rescue Centre for help. Staff volunteers Caren Gillies and Alex Upton came to the rescue. We wish the Echidna gets well soon!
