24.01.2022 I love this time between trimesters when I can come home from work and spend time bring creative. This week I have been working on this lovely card kit which makes 16 cards with four different designs and have cute matching envelopes. 16.01.2022 Peaceful day at home alone so plenty of time to craft! I played with the stamparatus today and I am not sure how I managed without it! It makes it so easy to correctly place the stamps - particularly the ones that layer like this lighthouse.

16.01.2022 I needed a study break and thought I would try this string painting that has flooded the internet lately. Everyone makes it look so easy . It gives lovely results and it is lots of fun but very very messy! My recommendation use gloves and take them off before laying the string on the paper or book - and need ink as the stamp pads are not enough to soak the string alone. Happy experimenting!

09.01.2022 A card using the Eclipse technique. It is a great way to add texture to a card. You can use any stamps you like and looks amazing using names or words. I will make one of those shortly as I am about to order the alphabet dies!

08.01.2022 I had a lovely time introducing my sister Rebecca Neville to the joys of heat embossing and card making. She picked out this stamp set. Hopefully there will be lots more card making days in future. It is very satifying watching the gold emossing powder melt . A good tip when embossing is to use the embossing buddy to remove any static so you only emboss the image you want.

06.01.2022 It was too hot for any more outdoor chores so while I wait for it to cool down a little I thought I would teach myself some water colour painting techniques. It is very soul soothing
