23.01.2022 COVID-19 Pharmacy 4 Less Tahmoor We are open! There was an employee who came into contact with someone with COVID-19 on Friday 10th July. This employee came into work on Sunday 12th July from 9am 11am. This person was tested for COVID-19 and returned a positive result on Monday 13th July which prompted the voluntary closure of the pharmacy. Immediate action was taken in consultation with NSW Health and following our standard protocol for this type of incident.... 1. Pharmacy 4 Less Tahmoor ceased trading. 2. Pharmacy 4 Less Tahmoor has been professionally cleaned to disinfect any potential traces of COVID-19. 3. The COVID-19 positive staff member is in isolation. 4. Pharmacy 4 Less has requested all staff members take a COVID-19 test. 5. All employees who worked alongside the COVID-19 positive staff member is isolating for 14 days regardless of their test result. 6. Those staff member who did not come into contact with the COVID-19 positive employee and have had a negative COVID-19 test result have been allowed to return to work. 7. Pharmacy 4 Less Tahmoor was cleared by NSW Health to reopen on 14th July. 8. All other employees have returned a negative COVID-19 test result. If you have visited the pharmacy and remain unsure if you should be tested, we recommend calling the COVID-19 hotline on 1800 020 080 which has been set up by the government to answer any questions you may have. We also recommend testing generally especially if you are showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or if you are unsure for your own peace of mind. Pharmacy 4 Less have been following a strict COVID Safe Plan since the beginning of the pandemic and will continue to do so. 20.01.2022 We have now been cleared to reopen our pharmacy by NSW Health today. We thank you all for your patience while we took immediate action on Monday as soon as we knew of the positive test as per our protocol. As always the safety of our patients, our team and the communities we serve comes first and foremost. This decision was made immediately and without delay as we understand the urgency and importance of this decision. The pharmacy has been professionally cleaned and all tea...m members working were not in contact with the one person who tested positive. Those staff members who were in contact with the person who tested positive are self isolating for 14 days regardless of their test results. The positive test has been tracked back to a source external of the pharmacy and we must all remain conscious of the threat of COVID-19 to all Australians and maintain social distancing as well as practice good hygiene practices by washing your hands regularly and using hand sanitiser. Anyone who remains unsure if they should have a test or not, we recommend calling the COVID-19 hotline on 1800 020 080 which has been set up by the government to answer any questions you may have. We also recommend testing generally especially if you are showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or if you are unsure for your own peace of mind.
