04.01.2022 Dear Customers, We know that we, and many other restaurants, are not delivering the same quality standards in timing and customer service that you are used to... But before you yell at us, leave a bad review or refuse to pay for your meal, we ask you to consider a few things.... We were forced to close over the COVID period with no idea when we were able to reopen. We had to let go many staff, who were parents and international students not eligible for job keeper who found other solutions. We then had to rehire and open again with little notice. Now with the threat of a second wave, we see more and more bookings being cancelled and staff unable to work for various reasons. We are hiring and training staff as quickly as we can, we promise we are doing our best. So when your cocktail takes an extra few minutes while someone learns to make it for the first time, or it takes a few seconds longer to clear your table, please talk to us, help us understand how we need to improve, but understand that we are doing it tough just like many other businesses out there and do it with support and understanding. We promise our high levels of service will be back in no time and the Phat Elephant experience is worth waiting for. Thank you. The Phat Elephant team.
