25.01.2022 So this is nerve wracking . a while back we thought we (I) might get into video and invested in a gimbal. It's been staring at me with idle condemnation for ...quite a while. I finally (reluctantly) took her out for her first date on Saturday night & have spent the last 3 days sitting at my desk trying to put something together on Premiere Pro. Countless tutorials later, here’s my first damn video. Feel free to pick it to pieces, I don’t know what I don’t know and am calling on the collective brain to help me step up. 10.01.2022 Lila has been playing music for a long time. She weaves her work with alto and baritone saxophones, kora (African Harp), percussion (like djembe, surdo, chimes..., gongs and bells), and the unique musical leather sculptures created by the late Garry Greenwood. Nature is her ground and muse. Improvisation, meditation, and cross art collaboration is her favourite. Funk, soul and groove is complete LOVE! ... But a good dose of chaos, loud and heavy is never too far away either. Lila will join the lineup at Swims LAGO event and will play kora and the Black Rose - one of Greenwood's instruments to to charm you into your evening experience. @ Swims East Coast Coffee
