24.01.2022 YARRA KEBAB CHALLENGE 2 KEBABS IN ONE SITTING ARE YOU UP TO IT!?!? A bloke at work said that when he was at Uni they had a Yarra kebab challenge where you had to try eat 2 in one sitting. He said he saw many people attempt it but only one was ever successful Two kebabs doesn’t sound too hard does it! I was sure I’d be able to do it!!! How wrong was I... Not only are Yarra kebabs the tastiest things ever . They’re bloody huge to! I was full after half a kebab and chocker block after a whole one. Kudos to anyone who can destroy 2 in one sitting On a side note, we ate them at the top of Black Mountain while watching a 10/10 Canberra sunset .. how’s that for an amazing phat! 24.01.2022 Yaaaaaaaass!!!!! @yogurtlandau at the Belconnen Mall has reopened!!!!! There's been a temporary slight change with the toppings bar. Instead of the self serve bar you can now choose your topping of choice in a prepackaged bag or cup. We went cookie dough and the m&m 100s n 1000s mix!!!! Flavour wise we had our old faithfuls . 23.01.2022 CRAFT BEERS FROM DAN MURPHY’S For this #PhatsFour I’ve mixed it up with some craft styles and flavours I haven’t tried before along with some of my usual go to’s all available from @DanMurphys... @STONEANDWOOD, THE GATHERER WATERMELON, CUCUMBER & MINT With a twist of real watermelon, cucumber and mint and hopped with Galaxy, The Gatherer is beer but just a bit different to usual and in a good way! @BALTERBREWERS XPA Love Balter and their XPA is especially great! It is an aromatic fully-hopped beer and also easy to drink. It’s the type of beer you’d get if you were off to a party and wanted to have a few @NOMADBREWINGCO ROSIE’S RASPBERRY SOUR ALE Raspberries added to a Berliner Weisse Sour Ale. don’t mind if I do! @NOMADBREWINGCO - BUDGIE SMUGGLER PALE ALE great beer and reminds me of summer #KingPhatsCraftBeers #AussieBeer #IndieBeer #CraftBeer #beer @ Dan Murphy's
23.01.2022 The past 2 Phat’s we've watched the sunset at the top of Red Hill after our meal Last night we took our @greasemonkeycanberra feed with us at ate it at the top of Mt Ainslie. How a lucky are we here in Canberra!!! We had 2x Smash Test * - 2 x smashed patties, provolone, truffle aioli, bacon jam, herbed mushrooms, capers, rocket and 1x pizza (no pics)... So we've had @milkylaneofficial last week then @greasemonkeycanberra this week ... will we make it a burger 3 peat next weekend? Stay tuned!!

22.01.2022 I only had 1 can of beer last night. Sure it was this 960 ml growler of @capitalbrewing new release, Zeds Dead... but it was only 1! This amazing double red is available now at the tap room and in takeaway growlers It was nice to finally meet local beer blogger and Capital beer slinger, @mybrewcents when I bought it. 21.01.2022 WICKED ELF BEER, PORT MACQUARIE @wickedelfbeer are an award winning, indie coastal brewery in Port Macquarie. I am a massive fan of their work so for this #PhatsFour I am diving into some of the beers from their ‘wicked’ core range. FASTIDIOUS BASTARD IPA 6.8% ABV... I am a hop head and America’s West Coast IPAs are about as hoppy as they get!! This absolute ripper starts with citrus and splice flavours, and finished off with a long bitter finish PILSNER 4.8% ABV I celebrated Oktoberfest late with this golden Bohemian-style Pilsner. It had the gorgeous aromas you expect from a German beer with a lovely bitter long finish PORTER 6.2% ABV My Friday night dark beer ritual continued with this robust porter. With a blend of Aussie, German and British malted barley and classic English hops, this brew had an boasted a roasted coffee aroma and a silky smooth mouthfeel PALE ALE 4.8% ABV Aussie malted barley and American cascade hops combine effortlessly in this well-balanced, refreshing pale ale with a citrusy kick and strong malty backbone Thanks Wicked Elf! BETTY’S CLASSIC Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, Betty’s special sauce, and BETTY’S DOUBLE Double beef, double cheese, bacon, pickles, onions, American mustard, tomato sauce And for the concrete Jr had the COOKIE BUTTER Vanilla custard, crumbled Biscoff cookies, cookie butter, cinnamon sugar Mouth-wateringly good! Ricotta pancakes with a side of Sausage * Fark we love this place!!!!! Yum!!! 20.01.2022 CREPE STOP MORT ST BRADDON Crepe lovers of Canberra, we have some great news for you!! A NEW crêperie called @crepe_stop has opened up in Braddon Crepe Stop offers a great range of sweet & savoury crepes to suit whatever it is you're feeling like... They come in any colour from traditional all the way to rainbow. Being a big kid at heart, I (King Phat), went a rainbow ‘Egg & Cheese’ w/ mayo & bbq sauce + added ham. Princess had this too, but on a normal crepe & Jr has the Roast Chicken crepe with mayo The crepes were AMAZING, & it gets better!!! Crepe Stop also has one of the only TopBrewer coffee machines in Australia a self-service coffee machine where you can create your coffee exactly how you like it in terms of size, strength, beans etc. It grinds the beans freshly for each cup & froths the milk perfectly. You can use the in-store iPad to select your order or download the App and arrange your brew from there! 20.01.2022 Caribou Kingston Square We lapped up some of Canadian hospitality last Phaturday at @cariboukingston. Located in the leafy Kingston Square we were temped to sit outside in the sunny beer garden but we decided to sit inside to soak up some of the fun atmosphere Canadian pubs are known for We scored a prime possy in a booth overlooking the bar with a big screen I the background so we could watch the Bledisloe... The menu has lot of different dishes you can expect to find if you go for trek around Canada. We were keen for a pizza & after asked the owner Leeroy for some recommendations we ordered THE BOSS PIZZA Pork Belly, cherry tomato, red onion, cheese topped with coleslaw and bbq sauce. What a cracker! It was a great mix of warm/cold, crunchy/chewy and delicious. We also went the ROYALE WITH CHEESE BURGER beef burger with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cheese and pickles. Jr said it was A-MAY-ZING The bar options are equally awesome and it’s heaven for a craft beer lover like King Phat! The coolest thing he has seen in a long time was the beer specially made for Caribou. It’s a West Coast Canadian IPA that is brewed by @Waywardbrewing. The head brewer at Wayward is Canadian, so it’s a Canadian beer, brewed by a Canadian for a Canadian We had a great time and there’s lots more on the meu we want to try so we will be heading back for a repeat Caribou Phat very shortly #PhaturdayCBR at @cariboukingston
18.01.2022 PAGE BOTTLER MYSTERY CUBE, POST 4 of 4 These are the final 4 beers from the 16 beer mystery cube I picked up from the champs @Page_Bottler. Boy was it good while it lasted & I plan on buying l another one soon In this #PhatsFour we have... WAYWARD SON LUPULIN IPA This resinous and fruit forward annual release West Coast style IPAwas made using a new hop powder, called LupuLN2 which helped give it a clean dry hop character. What a ripper! Keen to try more of @waywardbrewing stuff now, especially the Cashmere Cat CAPITAL BREWING XPA I am seeing the @capitalbrewing XPA pop up everywhere, & for good reason! It's a bright & tropical brew with a hint of citrus thanks to the great mosaic, azzaca, and amarillo hop combo. It is full flavoured but not over the top which makes it a veeeeeery drinkable beer especially with some of the nice days we have been having lately in Canberra. I spotted my man @troy.fisho enjoying one in his Sydney backyard during the Wallabies game. What did you think Troy? When it comes to your choice of beer, ‘’You’ve Changed, but in a good way this time HARGREAVES HILL PALE ALE Ella and Simcoe hops hops are added at different stages during the brewing process resulting in this bright, citrusy Pale Ale with a thirst quenching bitterness. This was an outstanding drop, and prompted me to grab more of their beers including that wildly popular ‘Pursuit of Hoppiness’ #6 & #7 that was recently released. The legends at @hargreaveshill make some sensational beers BODRIGGY GOOD THANKS, YOURSELF? DDH HAZY PALE ALE This double dry hopped NEIPA is mellow and smooth, and definitely one of my faves so far. 18.01.2022 CAMPBELL & GEORGE, QUEANBEYAN Last weekend we made the most of this stellar weather having our Phaturday at Campbell & George Located on the corner of Campbell and George Street in Queanbeyan, the historic Queanbeyan bowls club was given a slick facelift inside and... out We sat outside in the ‘paddock’, a former bowling green which has been transformed into an open-air beer garden with tables, umbrellas, music and some space for the kids to play lawn games. We brought our Finska set along and had an epic game with some u7 Qbn Blues players who were there with their families. Thanks for the game Connor & Reuben! One of our games was cut short when our food arrived (priorities right!) There are a variety of dining options @campbellandgeorge, including the Brick & Basil Italian Bistro inside, and the Locker Room Sports Bar Because we were sitting outside, we ordered from the sports bar menu. We shared the ARANCINI BALLS perfectly crunchy on the outside and filled with warm and gooey truffled mushroom on the inside CALAMARI & PRAWN FRITTI, an inclusion on the Specials Board that we couldn’t say no to BBQ Chicken Pizza fresh out of the wood-fired pizza oven, the base had the perfect crunch and it was topped with fresh marinated chicken breast, bacon, Spanish onion, mushrooms, mozzarella and rocket If you are a Canberra foodie looking for some different places to try, we highly recommend crossing the border and spending some time at Campbell & George #PhaturdayCBR #Queanbeyan
17.01.2022 NEW RAMEN LAUNCHING SOON - @raijinjapanesecuisine McKELLAR Raijin Japanese Cuisine is about to launch a yuzu shio soup based ramen and we were lucky enough to try it last night We absolutely adore everything about Raijin from the fun venue, friendly staff and of course the amazing authentic Japanese food... They make some of the best ramen, tempura, sushi etc in town and this new addition will be a great addition to their menu!!!!! @ Raijin Japanese Cuisine
16.01.2022 BEST SUBURBAN TAKEAWAY PLACES IN CANBERRA?? The Canberra Notice Board Group Facebook page normally has Loud Bang posts and other random contributions like that! However, occasionally there are some really useful and informative posts, like one a few weeks ago where someone asked for recommendations for the best... suburban pizza places in Canberra When we were scrolling through the replies we saw lots of amazing places that we have been to. However, we were excited to see that there was also quite a lot that we hadn’t tried yet. So, we have decided it was time to do something about that and check them out over the coming Phaturdays First cab off the rank, Billy Banks takeaway in Banks We had already heard a lot of good things about Billy Banks and it was always in relation to how generous he is with the toppings. We are ecstatic to report that this feedback is 100% correct! Not only does Billy go to town with the toppings, but the base isn’t too thick so that is a win/win in our book. 16.01.2022 BLACK FIRE RESTAURANT, BRADDON Had an awesome night last night celebrating my good mates 40th birthday @blackfirerestaurantcanberra last night. Happy birthday bro!!! We had the Butcher's Selection, the perfect feast for 13 hungry blokes! The Angus Striploin mabled 5 (pictured)was one of many amazing carnivore dishes we enjoyed. 15.01.2022 IRONBARK HILL BREWHOUSE, POKOLBIN Trips to the Hunter Valley are all about the amazing food, wine and of course craft beer! We can’t wait to go there again for a foodie trip, but in the meantime I arranged a beer delivery from Hunter Valley’s newest Craft Beer Brewery, IronBark Hill Brewhouse @ironbarkhillbrewhouse #PhatsFour ... let's go!... Hazelnut Brown Ale A smooth and medium bodied classic English style Ale. A very malt forward beer with biscuit, toffee and nutty flavours which dominate the palate. Sensational Watermelon American wheat beer, with fresh watermelon juice added during fermentation. This one was a flavour explosion with a well balanced malt profile - what a cracker American Pale Ale All American hops with flavours and aromas of tropical fruits with a medium dry finish and smooth mouthfeel. I'm loving this style Black Forest Stout My Friday night stout was brewed with real cherries and dark chocolate, reminiscent of a Black Forest Cake. Paired well with the raiders win over the roosters!! IronBark Hill Brewhouse has a varied and truly exceptional range of beers. 14.01.2022 PROPAGANDA BISTRO - ERINDALE Located in the Erindale restaurant strip, @eat.propaganda.bistro serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine eat in & takeaway We ordered some for home delivery on Saturday for a cosy night in out of the cold ... coldest day in 4 years I heard... We ordered a few things and in the photo we have Pho Bo - Beef noodles soup. Pho with rare beef, meatballs and side veggies and herbs ... perfect comfort food for a snowy Canberra day! Crunchy Spring Rolls - Traditional Vietnamese style fried spring rolls using rice paper with chicken, carrot, corn, mushroom. Served with sweet chilli & lime sauce It was fresh and healthy, the servings were generous, and the food was beautiful!!! @ Propaganda Bistro
13.01.2022 PAGE BOTTLER MYSTERY BOX I shared my first 4 of the 16 can @pagebottler mystery box with fellow craft beer fan @therealjoehogan. It was a great night of beer tastings, yarns, and home-cooked Barra topped off with a @raiderscanberra victory over the feeble Broncos @deedsbrewing - QUIET DEEDS DOUBLE TIME DDH PALE... Double dry hopped with a blend of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe, providing a full-on tropical fruit aroma, complemented by a subtle notes of pine. This is a small batch beer packed full of flavour @saucebrewing IDAHO SECRET DDH JUICY IIPA The fourth in Sauce’s series of dual-hop, double dry-hopped, juicy IPA’s. Idaho 7 is a staple hop but this is the first time they’ve managed to score the Vic Secret hops. They used them all up in this 8% absolute banger @brightbrewery ROCK, PAPER SCISSORS NEIPA An outstanding NEIPA featuring newly released Lotus hops this ripper had juicy orange and tropical fruit aromas with a subtle creamy vanilla nish @coastalbrewingco CROWDY NEIPA Just have a look at this haziness of this masterpiece!! This one’s another NEIPA with rolled oats, malted oats, lactose and crowded with hops! As you can see from this photo, it has a creamy smooth texture that was balanced with a huge dose of tropical and citrus aroma from the hops As you can see, my mystery box got off to a flyer! 13.01.2022 BENTSPOKE & CAPITAL SPECIAL RELEASE STOUTS How lucky are we to have hands down two of the best breweries in Australia right here in Canberra - @BentSpokeBeer & @CapitalBrewing Whenever they bring out a special release beer I always try get my hands on some. Being winter at the moment, they have brought out a Special Release Stout, both of which can only be described as extraordinary!!!! With the weekend just around the corner it’s the perfect time to grab yourself a few... Whether you try them back-to-back, side-by-side or on consequitive Friday nights like I did, there is one thing for certain you are going to enjoy the heck out it them CAPITAL BREWING - FIRST TRACKS COFFEE STOUT Think their previous First Tracks, but double the malts, double the coffee (@ONAcoffee that is!!) & double the booze!! She was smooth & had a nice hit of coffee. PERFECTION. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I was feeling so relaxed the next day I had one my best training runs ever haha BENTSPOKE - DESCENT 20, RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT Every year BentSpoke release a Russian Imperial Stout to celebrate their birthday and the Descent 20 is the 6th birthday edition. 13.01.2022 SOI NOODLE BAR, CANBERRA CENTRE When we put the call our for your favourite noodle place in Canberra, the overwhelming response was @SioNoodleBar. We took that as a sign and went there again for last weekend’s Phaturday The menu has a wide range of Asian Fusion options inspired by Japanese and Thai food. It all sounded amazing and it was had to choose what to order, & we ended up ordering... SPANNER CRAB BUNS - Spanner crab mix with mayonnaise, tobiko & house pickled red onion YAKISOBA - Soba noodles with tonkatsu and teriyaki sauce, cabbage, chopped shallot, onion, carrot, mushroom, egg and topped by bonito flakes & sesame oil and chicken for the protein RAMEN - Chicken broth ramen noodle soup, topped with the meat of your choice (I went beef), wakame, nori, chopped shallot, bamboo shoot, boiled egg and fish cake LYCHEE SAKURA (ice slushy) - lychee, lime & mint Thanks Soi for the amazing feast and thank to everyone for the solid recommendation. But as it was chilly this time we ate in the cosy Glass House next to the huge roaring fireplace... The highly rated new chef whipped up our delicious dishes including The 1/2 Rack of Pork Ribs with chips*, and BBQ chicken Pizza*... 10.01.2022 KRAKATOA BBQ brought to you by @AkibaCBR, @SageDiningRooms & @KokomosCBR Last night, the Krakatoa high-end South-East Asian BBQ pop-up was launched at Kokomo’s. Yesterday also marked 20 years since Princess & King Phat hooked up!! With three of our favourite restaurants launching an exciting new event on our anniversary, it was no surprise where we... went to celebrate! Talk about perfect timing So what’s Krakatoa? Located inside Kokomo’s, a big area has been sectioned off specially for the Krakatoa pop-up experience There are two menus you can choose from - either Omnivore or Vegan. Swipe left to check them both out. We chose the omnivore option which featured these 8 innovative courses 1. Thai beef and macadamia pie tee 2. tempura oyster with nashi pear and betel leaf 3. BBQ Padron with baby corn and whipped nuoc cham 4. kurobuta pork belly with prawn and peanut brittle sambal (pictured) 5. charcoal-roasted rainbow trout with young coconut and avocado salad 6. wood-fired duck curry with lychee and chicken-fat rice 7. Krakatoa fruit salad with tapioca pearls , and 8. chilli-smoked chocolate with dragon fruit and ginger ice cream The flavours in the dishes were amazing, some of which were like nothing we have tried in Canberra before After a year of mostly eating in at home, we Canberrans deserve a new & exotic dining experience to entice us to get back out & about . and Krakatoa is just that and then some Krakatoa is on for a limited time. 10.01.2022 HARGRAVES HILL SEASONAL RELEASES With their first beer being brewed back in 2004, Hargreaves Hill is one of Australia's pioneering craft breweries. The @hargreaveshill head brewer & his wife are also opera singers & musicians. As I found out a few weeks ago when I tried their Pale Ale, their dedication to mastery when performing beautiful music has definitely crossed over to the careful crafting of their core range of beers. Of all the noble pursuits happening in the world, I think this one is right up there!! Number 6 is a single-hop 7% Hazy IPA utilising Galaxy hops with aromas and flavours of Passionfruit, Peach & Citrus. Wow, that was awesome! Time to move straight onto No.7 PURSUIT OF HOPPINESS - NUMBER 07 - CRYO OAT CREAM IPA POH Number 7 is an 8% Oat Cream IPA featuring rolled oats & torrified wheat. After a slow sparge, milk sugars are added to the boil resulting in a creamy mouthfeel. Wowzers!! No’s 6 & 7 were both incredible with #7 being my personal fave! If only I had a time machine so I could go back and try no’s 1-5 WHITE RUSSIAN WHITE STOUT My Friday night stout ritual continued with this creamy White Russian White Stout. This was my first ever white stout, pouring the colour of a Pale Ale, but tasting like a sweet stout! How cool! It was brewed with coffee and a hint of cherry to reflect the traditional cherry on top that comes with a White Russian cocktail FRUITOPIA - NUMBER 02 - MANGO CRÈME BRÛLÉE Fruitopia is another ongoing speciality series, but this time HH explores how far they can take the addition of fruit to beer Fruitopia Number 2 is a 7% mango swirl, combining flavours from malt spices (Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Vanilla), a tonne of mango, and lactose into a creamy dessert inspired, smoothie style sour.

09.01.2022 PANDA CREPES & TEA - WESTFIELD BELCONNEN Located just outside Woolies at Westfield Belconnen, Panda Crepes & Tea has an amazing range of Chinese savoury crepes (aka Jianbing) and Bubble Teas Jianbing are extraordinary!! They're a very thin crepe made from a batter of wheat flour and topped with an egg, chili sauce, hoisin sauce, spring onions and crispy fried won-ton skins... The crepes were then filled with high quality ingredients and the textures are a perfect mixture of warm, soft, chewy and crunchy We had the Peking Duck in Canberra, Outback Australia and Taste of China. The crepe hot plate is viewable so you can stand nice and close and watch them masterfully weave their crepe making magic using traditional tools and methods. It's a bright & tropical brew with a hint of citrus thanks to the great mosaic, azzaca, and amarillo hop combo. It is full flavoured but not over the top which makes it a perfect sessionable beer for the upcoming BBQ season. 05.01.2022 Pre Pear, NO ROUGH MORNINGS As you probably already know, I don’t mind a few craft beers on the weekend Whenever I plan on having more than a few, I try make sure I prepare beforehand to try avoid the dreaded hangover. Normally this involves making sure I am well hydrated, but last weekend I went one step further pre pear juice... @prepeardrinkcompany contains two ingredients that have been used for hundreds of years & are scientifically l proven to help you wake up fresh after a big night 1) The Korean Pear (nashi pear) helps reduce blood acetaldehyde levels. Acetaldehyde is one of the main culprits of hangover symptoms 2) Oriental Raisin Tree, which contains Dihydromyricetin (DHM). The DHM helps regulate the brain’s production of glutamine while you sleep (which is normally thrown out of whack when you drink), which reduces those restless and anxious next morning feelings The instructions couldn’t be easier for me to follow 1) I drank a bottle of Pre pear at least an hour before my first drink btw, it was bloody DELICIOUS 2) I enjoyed my night (responsibly!!), while watching the Raiders beat the Roosters 3) I woke up feeling like a million bucks on Phaturday It’s also really easy to factor Prepear into your drinking plans. 05.01.2022 WHISKY LOVERS OF CANBERRA, THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU MOLLY BAR’S ONLINE WHISKY TASTING On top of craft beer I also love trying out different whiskeys. So I was pumped when I saw that @MollyCanberra was hosting an 6-whiskey tasting Masterclass over Zoom. Princess & I signed-up for last night’s event and absolutely loved it... We experienced a range of bottlings from Buffalo Trace Distillery who were named Distillery of the Year at the 2019 San Francisco Spirits Competition. The hosts Gee (@buffalotracedistillery Brand Ambassador) and Zac (Molly bartender) were so much fun & we learned a lot of whisky history, tips and tricks The range that we tasted included: EH Taylor Small Batch Blanton’s Single Barrel Stagg Jr Weller Special Reserve Elmer T Lee Buffalo Trace I could try talk about the a satisfying nose of nutmeg and spices, powerful dry vanilla notes in harmony with hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn etc etc but I wouldn’t be able to pull it off! What I will say is that they were all delicious top notch whiskeys and my favourite was the Elmer T Lee There is another Masterclass next Wednesday featuring a range of drams from The Balvenie (24 June 6pm) for those keen to get involved with a fun night of banter and outstanding scotch We had a fun & unique date-night in and it was certainly something quite different to our standard dinner & a movie date!!! 03.01.2022 PIALLIGO ESTATE - PAVILION DINING IS BACK Two months ago when @eatcanberra posed the question, 'what are the first 3 restaurants you're going to visit when restrictions are lifted' - we all looked at each other and said in unison, Pialligo Estate Pialligo Estate is our favourite venue in Canberra. We love everything about it from the food, fresh produce grown on the estate, location, views and atmosphere .... oh yeah, the under-slab heating is pretty cool too... We had the best time there on Saturday night for a special dinner. We made it a phone free evening so there were no photos this time ... except this one which hopefully captures how stunning the @pialligoestate pavilions are at night At the moment they are offering an outstanding Winter Set Menu where you can choose either two or three courses - with the option of 4 entrees, mains and desserts. I picked them all up from @FarrahsLiquorCollective... @BEERFARM ROYAL HAZY SUPER JUICY IPA A big hazy IPA packed full of Citra, El Dorado and Mosaic hops - it’s a hazy IPA at its best. A cloudy and light malt base helps juice up this sessionable 5.8% hazy IPA that has been hopped multiple times through the process @WILLIETHEBOATMAN NECTAR OF THE HOPS Another big and juicy IPA but this one is low on the bitterness at 28 IBUs. It had a piney, passionfruit nose and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel from the addition of oats and wheat. The hops give the beer beautiful tropical fruit flavours with hints of pineapple, mango and lychees @BEERFARM INDIA PALE ALE An American IPA with a rounded malt character and a resinous hop profile. It has rich red colour with complex... maltiness, toasted caramel, toffee and biscuit flavours and was enjoyed around a firepit for father's day while we sang along to the @rohanwindle live weekly piano bar show @tumutriverbrewingco BOUNTY HUNTER DARK ALE Yes that's right, this is a Bounty chocolate bar-inspired release, one that first appeared in 2019 and has been requested by many since. It comes with desiccated coconut flavours and aromas along with plenty of chocolate. Friday nights are dark beer nights and this one sure got the weekend off to a great start @hairyman_brewry - THE HAAR HAZY IPA The Haar, a Scottish mist from the sea, defines this juicy, hoppy, silky Hazy XPA. I was a fan of the tropical citrus notes and the cloudy smooth finish @willietheboatman HOP STORM HAZY IPA Bursting with tropical flavours and aromas, the three hops used are all experimental hops that have only recently burst onto the scene.
