22.01.2022 Congratulations to Roma and Jarrod for their winning achievements to claim the NDBD Singles Championships. We at PHBC claim ownership of Roma ( well partially anyway) since she is a member of our Midweek Pennant Team. We are very proud of you, Roma. Well done. Congratulations are extended to all other Club Champions and particularly to those who were Runners-up to Roma and Jarrod. Well done, Rhonda and Roy.

20.01.2022 The Trivia Night planned for this Friday, 20th March, at PHBC has been postponed. The night now pencilled in with the Ballarat Presenters is Friday, 25th September, which is the eve to the AFL Grand Final (perhaps). Please let the other members of your table team know the situation. It is regrettable but perhaps the wisest decision...given that we would be congregating quite a few elderly people into a small area. The PHBC Board of Management has given careful consideration before making the decision, and we are dissapointed to have to move in this direction but we must be cognizant of the need to protect the health of ourselves and others. We hope that we can go ahead with what was planned to be a great night of fun as we muster in readiness for the next bowling season.Thanks. Marie N.

14.01.2022 Pyramid Hill Bowling Club extends hearty congratulations to the 2019-2020 Grand Final Winners - Division 1 Cohuna Golf and Division 2 Barham Sports. Well done to Runners Up , Cohuna, in both Divisions. A great spectacle of bowls.

13.01.2022 Pyramid Hill Bowling Club extends hearty congratulations to Barham Sports (Division 1) and Leitchville (Division 2) on their success in the Grand Finals played at Cohuna Golf today. Well done to both teams. We witnessed two closely contested matches. Commiserations to Cohuna and Kerang White.

08.01.2022 A very challenging day for bowls due to the strong gusty winds, but Division 2 were up to the challenge against a determined Leitchville side. Two rinks up and a narrow loss on the third rink completed a tightly contested match with nothing between the sides all day. Ian, Ray, Marie and Bill got away with a handy lead but were pegged back and headed just before lunch. Some skilful bowling by the Skip, Ian, kept their boat afloat and they eventually regained the lead and finis...hed 3 up after the 25 ends. (21-18). Lionel, Kate, Jean and Allan also had a nail bitter all day and their scores see-sawed with regard to who was in front at any particular time. Some precision bowling by Lionel projected them into the winners box with a total 24-21. This six shot overall lead put the victory on an uneasy balance as Marie S., Glenys, Jan and Graham fought back from a 9 shot deficit. Some fantastic shots from Skip , Marie, tipped the balance in PH favour so that they finished just 4 shots in arrears. It was a great contest with a satisfying 2 shots up finish. Well done, team. 04.01.2022 Runners Up = Michael Carmody's team including P. Bibby, B. McLoughlin and R. Eckhart. Well done.
