10.01.2022 Lets Support Pennant Hills Cricket Club By Purchasing as many Raffle Tickets as we can - TOYOTA GOOD FOR CRICKET RAFFLE Hi Everyone A very happy New Year to you all and may 2021 be a happy and successful year for all. ... We would like your help in the next few weeks ( the sooner the better) in raising some money for our club.We have the ground rental bill coming up as well as equipment costs and a never ending accumulation of bills. In addition we reduced fees because of the Covid season. We need at least $7000.00 to pay for equipment, coaching , facilities such as a sightboard on the bottom field and shading at the field at Pennant Hills High School and so our aim is to raise $7,000.00.A quick viewing of club results shows Lane Cove have raised over $7000.00. Unfortunately we cannot get together for functions nor can we run our Sportsman’s Lunch which usually raises at least $5000.00. Even having a few drinks with the opposition after the match is actively discouraged. However we do have the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle which has been digitised so we can get rid of the paper tickets which always caused grief (they used to get lost) The Committee is asking if you could ring family, friends and acquaintances and sell them a ticket in the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle. The tickets are $5.00 each and payment is by credit card. Cash is possible but that would mean personal contact. Find below a link for you to open which lists the substantial prizes on top of the 3 Toyotas. There is a link under the pictures of the Toyotas which details additional prizes.Selling concludes on February 21st 2021 but my previous experience tells me now is the best time to sell tickets. You link for this is https://toyotagoodforcricket.raffletix.com.au/ Click on the above link and proceed with purchasing the tickets using your credit card. We are also in the draw in the Toyota Bash for Cash which is part of the Big Bash on television. Good luck everyone.I will keep everyone updated on our progress every week.To date we have raised $220.00. Please share the details with your friends and family as well. 07.01.2022 URGENT - Sunday Pre-season Training Session 23rd August URGENT MESSAGE FROM OUR PUMAS PRESIDENT Dear All ,... Unfortunately on last Friday 14 August 2020 the NSW Department of Health issued a ban on sporting events which involves travel and playing between residents of the various Sydney and/or rural regions for the next 6 weeks until 3rd October 2020. The Directive states .. "In addition, please implement the following updated public health recommendations: Cease activities that result in the mixing of participants and staff from different regions, for example by ceasing zone, regional or state championships or competitions. Examples of inter-regional mixing include activities which bring together participants (including spectators and officials) from organisations in different regions of Sydney, from a rural area into a metro area and vice versa, and movement between different rural areas. Cease any activities that result in overnight stays (e.g. multi-day training camps) due to increased risk of COVID transmission in residential-type settings with shared facilities Cease face-to-face social activities relating to community sports (e.g. award ceremonies, end-of-season social gatherings, post-training group dinners) Avoid carpools or bus travel with people from different household groups where possible For local activities, limit spectators to one parent only, where the child requires parental supervision during the sporting activity. " THIS MEANS THAT PENNANT HILLS DCC PRESEASON PRACTICES ARE CANCELLED FORTHWITH UNTIL 3/4TH OCTOBER 2020. In fact the Sydney Cricket Association and Cricket NSW have today issued a directive that all Premier Grade Clubs are cancelling their training until 3/4 October 2020. We are heartened by your attendances at our preseason nets to date and everything is shaping up to be a great year for our mighty Club. Please keep your OWN fitness regimes and personal skill practices going during the shutdown as we wish to hit the ground running when play resumes. At this stage the Shires' competition is still scheduled to start on Saturday 31 October 2020. We will keep you fully informed of further developments within the next 6 weeks . We look forward to seeing you upon resumption. Thanks everyone for your understanding.
