10.02.2022 LONG DAYS Some weeks are longer than others! Some weeks I definitely don’t get enough sleep. This week was one.... I fell asleep at work and spent all Saturday on the couch with a head ache. Finding the balance is something I am definitely getting better at. Just haven’t nailed it yet. #doyourbestandforgettherest



25.01.2022 LATERAL RAISES Literally my favourite exercise. Sooo aesthetically pleasing haha. This exercise targets the side of your shoulders. Building this muscle allows you to display a broader shoulder appearance.... Drop sets, single sided, stutters, particles, all are great ways to modify the exercise. 24.01.2022 WORK I have the best job. The time and effort that goes into it is rising exponentially, and if I didn’t have the passion for what I do, I wouldn’t be awake at 3am preparing this instagram post, replying to emails, programming etc. Yes, some times it gets to a point where it becomes overwhelming, where my todo list is a few scrolls long on my phone. But, to be honest, I would much rather be in that position than any other.... I got myself into a position where a lot rides on my shoulders, and now more than ever, it’s time to have bloody strong shoulders. #doyourbestandforgettherest

17.01.2022 SIMILARITIES So I recently got an electric tooth brush. It’s amazing. Anyways, the tooth brush is pretty smart and it runs for 2 minutes before letting me know, hey that’s 2 minutes.... At night, when brushing my teeth becomes a chore, because all I want to do is close my eyes, those 2 minutes feel like 10. They drag out. Whereas, in the morning, I brush my teeth in the shower (not sure if that’s normal or not) and I am in my element, warm water, listening to a podcast, and the two minutes flys by! Now let’s relate this back to your fitness journey. When you are in a slump, eating like crap, your body feels lethargic and you have no energy, that 45 minute session you forced yourself to do probably feels like an eternity. You’re like a heavy weigh boxer constantly looking at the clock waiting for it to be over. On the other hand, when you are on, and I mean on! Your food is good, your water intake is high, energy is up, that 45 minutes is gone in a blink! Put yourself in the correct positions to be the morning brush. #doyourbestandforgettherest

05.12.2021 CHILDCARE Earlier this week I had the privilege of having Labrador Playschool come down to Fitness Compound a part of their vacation care program. It was an unreal day teaching and training all the students. From 2011 to 2015 I actually worked at Labrador Playschool and learnt so many valuable skills that I still use to this day.... I can’t thank the crew enough for all the support they have shown me since moving into the fitness industry. I am hoping this is just the beginning of Kid Sessions here at FC! #doyourbestandforgettherest
