23.01.2022 A basic set of stairs is one of the best at home strength training props. This makes me want to shoot an entire stair class. This is a five step single leg squa...t progression, and for this exercise a set of stairs are a great tool. Stairs are also the ideal place to practice pushups, place your feet on a low step, hands on a higher step, it makes for a perfect incline. Working on your lower body strength? Try out some of these progressions. Small (single step) step up, large (double step) step up. Eccentric single leg squats. Railing assisted mobility. Single leg squat onto the step. A great feature of these movements is they not only build strength but they can maintain or enhance mobility. So you can be strengthening and lengthening and developing control in those end ranges.
