24.01.2022 Bathroom/Laundry upgrade. The Karboodle frames used in this renovation came from Bunnings. I made the doors myself in a shaker style. The washing machine is now out of sight under the sink in the photo but can be easily accessed for servicing by a removable kick board section. This project was surprising cheap but looks terrific and added a lot of value to the house.

19.01.2022 : The surrounds and mantel piece for this built-in wood fire came from the range of Porta wood profiles available at Bunnings.

18.01.2022 My range of bird houses is something of a hobby I try and make them as individual and unique as possible using recycled timber, mainly jarrah. They are in big demand as garden features. The bird feeders look great in the garden or on the patio and the birds love them.

17.01.2022 These pics are samples of rock garden walls that I have built. They are an economical form of retaining wall compared to brick and timber and have a rustic charm, particularly when laid without cement showing on the face. Although moss rocks are getting harder to source Kelmscott Garden Supplies and Magic Garden Supplies in Forrestfield usually have plenty.

13.01.2022 This three car garage was made from treated pine timber framing and James Hardie Scion Linea weatherboard cladding from Bunnings. The deeper profile cladding (16mm) gave the finished product a great look. The roof trusses were supplied by Steel Scene in Kenwick and Always Electrical handled the wiring (thanks to Ron and the boys). Roller doors were supplied and fitted by Designer garage Doors. All up cost of the garage was around $20,000.

11.01.2022 In this renovation the solid timber jarrah kitchen doors were too good to be replaced. Spray painting them with a good quality, hard wearing paint (as recommended by Bunnings) and the addition of an island bench gave this kitchen a fabulous modern look without effecting the traditional Australian feel. The stone island bench top was provided by Carpenter Cabinets in the Armadale industrial area. This entire transition was done for around $1,500.

06.01.2022 This project involved turning an 80 plus square metre vacant shop into a welcoming and relaxing beauty salon. It incorporates a French Provincial style reception, three treatment rooms and a reception desk. The owner was delighted with the results. The timber framing and gyprock walls/ceilings came from Bunnings.

02.01.2022 This old sofa was headed to the dump before I gave it a new life as a garden feature using cement render, wire mesh and artificial turf (Tuff Turf) all supplied by Bunnings. The coffee table was made from scraps of timber.
