21.01.2022 Higher up into the mountains we would head towards Lake Louise, but not before a stop at the Columbia Icefield and walk on the 300 metre thick Athabasca Glacier. Finishing the day at the beautiful Chateau Lake Louise and explore the walking trails or maybe a canoe trip on the turquoise lake.

20.01.2022 Today we should have been posting from Canada while we enjoyed a Welcome dinner with our very first escorted tour. We would have been anticipating tomorrows sightseeing activities of sunny Vancouver and getting to know our fellow travellers. Although we're disappointed to be missing out this year, we're thankful to be safe and healthy here at home. After a visit to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre today to learn about First Nation's culture, tomorrow, we had the day to relax; go hiking on the summer trails; watch bears; and for dinner, a tasting tour of four different courses at four different restaurants. What Canadian wildlife would you most like to see?

14.01.2022 And just like that we'd be pulling into Clare with our new friends. In honour of our last night on the tour the group had a lovely dinner at the Bentley Hotel in Clare to meet each other and see the faces they'd be travelling with when it's safe to go. Covid has certainly put a dampener on things this year, but we are so thankful to our clients for their patience and for keeping their faith for 2021! 14.01.2022 For our second stop of the cruise we would visit Sitka- a beautiful seaside seaside village accessible by sea and air only. It's unique blend of Russian and Tlingit cultures is not to be missed. Keep your eyes out for moose, bears, sea otters and raptors!

As you can imagine with all the announcements from airlines, cruise lines, governments etc, we have had a very busy morning here in the office.... To all our clients with current booking We understand you might be stressing about your trip and want answers about what options are available to you. At present we are working through our emails, voicemails and booking in departure date order. If you are travelling in the next 2 weeks, please email us at [email protected] with your departure date in the subject line, or call us at 8842 2575 and leave a message if we can't answer right away. If you're travel is between April 1 and May 31, please stay patient. Rules, regulations, policies etc are changing quickly (every few hours in some cases) and we will keep you up to date on your options as they become available. For travel after June 01, we can't provide any updates. At present you're welcome to cancel, but you will be subject to third party cancellation fees as waivers are not yet available from most suppliers for travel that far out. For questions about your RAA travel insurance the best contact is 02 8055 1610 where they have a task team set up with the most up to date information. Lastly, we know that the biggest benefit of booking with us, your local travel agent, is that you can sit down and chat to us face to face.
