19.01.2022 Hi there, just wondering if anyone has photos of the old medical centre/ambulance station at 100 Church Street, Cowes
18.01.2022 #JohnHollandHistory: We’ve found this great video from the John Holland archives showing the ‘bridging of the gap’ on the Phillip Island Bridge that we built back in the late 60s.
17.01.2022 Terrific piece.
16.01.2022 I'm off backpacking through Europe for the next 6 weeks. Thought I'd share the many happy faces that this Island creates. Back soon.
12.01.2022 A postcard from the 1950’s of the Isle of Wight Hotel, Cowes, Phillip Island. I understand it was destroyed in a blazing inferno in 2010.
12.01.2022 Melbourne has is still magnificent
10.01.2022 #JohnHollandHistory: In this video from the late 1960s, we take an in-depth look at the Phillip Island Bridge project that we completed. Safety is our top priority and we are mindful that some activities in this video from the 1960s do not reflect current standards.
10.01.2022 Who remembers when Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit looked like this? The track sure has come a long way since it was first sealed in 1956 Phillip Island Auto Racing Club (PIARC)
08.01.2022 A fresh picture I've not come across before, thanks Jonathon.
06.01.2022 For years now I have shared Phillip Island's history with nearly 3000 of you that follow this page. It has given me great joy and many others I believe but I am entering into a new phase of my life and moving after 25 years from the Island to Melbourne and will no longer be driving this page. The page will sit here on facebook regardless and anyone is welcome to share local history and content if they choose. Thank you for following, supporting, contributing and sharing your memories, bringing the photos to life. May you all continue to love this gem of an Island and visit regularly if you are not locals. Cheers Tracey Smythe.
