06.02.2022 Meet the makers Online Quilt Event The last two years have been very challenging for us all with many events that unite us being cancelled. To help unite quilters and provide a forum to explore creativity, the Lions Club of Quilters will be holding a virtual online quilt event we call ‘Meet the Maker’.

25.01.2022 Sorry to say the Mother’s Day Patches Weekend has had to be cancelled. If you would like to be contacted with next year’s information as it comes to hand please email us at [email protected] Thank you everyone for your support and understanding.

20.01.2022 Ladies have you seen this site Love and Hugs Australia. They have some great ideas and also on line blocks of the month. A new project coming up is for Christmas, a great idea. Go and have a look it could interest you, it was brought to my attention by Helen Murray. Hopefully, we will be able to start doing our get together's soon. In the mean time stay safe and happy sewing.

13.01.2022 Every Mother’s Day weekend for the past 32 years the Phillip Island Patchworkers have held a weekend retreat. This year it is of course cancelled. Below is a message to all our participants current, past and future... HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY EVERYONE! While we are used to being enthusiastically greeted at the side entrance of the dining area by the Committee, with air kisses and friendly hugs, this Sunday is a very different Mother’s Day for many of us. I’m sure you have missed ca...tching up with old friends, meeting new people, laughing until your belly hurts and sewing up a storm only to be left with another UFO. But the good news is that it looks like our greater community has acted responsibly and the likelihood of the Patches Weekend going ahead next year is positive. And while many of us lament the absence of not only the Patches Weekend, but also the ability of catching up with family, rest assured we are thinking of you and sending our warmest Mother’s Day wishes. All the members of the Patches Weekend Committee hope you are well and keeping safe. We also hope you are digging deep into that large collected stash and completing a number of unfinished projects ready for show and tell next year. We will be in contact with news of 2021 as it comes to hand. All our Mother’s Day love and good wishes, Marj, Marg, Joan, Sue, Chris, Caroline and Michelle.

10.01.2022 Hello to all our members, on behalf of your committee we hope that you are all keeping well and doing the right thing Staying Home in this time of the COVID19 virus. No doubt you are all busy finishing all of your UFO's. So by the time, we get back to meetings there will be a lot of show and tell. Also, don't forget to give some of our members a phone call to see if they need any assistance or just a chat. If you are in need of any supplies for your project you can also give Cotton on to Craft a call they may have what you need. Once again please Stay Safe and Take Care of yourselves. We hope to see everyone soon.

09.01.2022 Ladies in these difficult times thought we would let you know the following. COTTON ONTO CRAFT are still open, so if you need any supplies you can contact them on 59525202. Wendy and Heather are happy to deliver items to anyone who lives on Phillip Island if you are unable to go to them. This is another way for us to support local business.
