03.01.2022 Finally started a new home for some props and set dressing of Lola’s dressing room, a scene in my short film Tales From The Powder Room. Starring Robert Adams as Lola I love resharing this film, it’s very naive in many ways from animation technique and Direction but I’m proud of her. All the voices were my friends chipping in for the giggles, even one rather fabulous celeb cameo!!... It really was a massive achievement by a huge team. They are all there in the credits and I adore them all for allowing me to tell my story. Especially Michael & Richard @Anifex devoted studio diva JoAnne Bouzianis-Sellick & my DOP Joe Rossiter. She did me well through the short film circuit, a few prizes, awards and accolade, but most importantly it launched my international career. Just through that naivety, it gave me the most incredible mindless optimism that lasted 8 years in the UK. You can watch it over on IGTV via the @philmahswerqshop account. Enjoy!
