07.01.2022 M family and I have had some recent misfortune with a destructive fire which destroyed our shop a week ago. I once again thank the firefighters from Goondiwindi..., Inglewood, and neighbouring Boggabilla and Milmerran for their incredible efforts. Putting themselves at risk to save our building and also saving the shops between us and the Victoria hotel. It's a testament to the community how amazing our whole region truly is. I have seen first hand with hundreds of phone calls, message of support and offers of help. This exemplies the reason back in December why I chose to run as a councillor for the Goondiwindi regional council. It's a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community who has supported me for the last 23 years and even more so in the last week. Thank you all very much
