Beechworth is a well-preserved historical town located in the north-east of Victoria, famous for its major growth during the gold rush days of the mid-1850s and today 3,900 call Beechworth there home. 21.01.2022 Maryville Lady Talbot Drive is a scenic rainforest car drive which passes a number of fantastic walks and waterfalls in the Yarra Ranges National Park. Featuring several attractions along the Taggerty River you'll come to Phantom Falls first followed by Keppel Falls these are very short walks from the carpark. For a longer walk, stop at Taggerty Cascades or The Beeches Picnic Area and do the Beeches Rainforest Walk. The wild life is very abundant from wild Deer and Lyrebirds My Rating 8.5

18.01.2022 Trentham Falls is one of my all time favorite waterfalls been there more times than l can count from my first visit in 2007 right up to last year. Been there when its been dry also thundering over the top and on a sunny day you can get rainbows forming, the location has changed over the years the close trees have all fallen and the cave has really increased in size.. Trentham Falls is one of the longest single drop waterfalls in Victoria, plunging some 32 metres with a easy... 2 min walk from the carpark to the viewing platform. There is a path down to the base of the falls it is closed but don't let that stop you. Get to the bottom there's a cave where you can stand behind the curtain of water.. My Rating 8.5/10 *Not to be used commercially without permission.

17.01.2022 Tomorrow will be a historic day freedom to travel finally able to get out there to photography more than my back yard. Have so many place marked down here's a nice place if people looking to go somewhere. The Pound Bend Tunnel, is a diversion tunnel on the Yarra River at Warrandyte. The Tunnel, which has become one of the main attractions for visitors to the district, was driven through the rock at the narrow neck of the Bend in 1870. It was part of the Evelyn Gold Mining Company's scheme to divert the Yarra and expose three miles of river bed for dredging.

16.01.2022 Last night l was at the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel tried out a little experiment in time exposure. The main photo was pushed out to 6mins, bottom three where starting with 30sec then 2mins then 4mins and again the last being 6mins. 16.01.2022 Friday l headed up to Beechworth on the back of the solid rains they had earlier in the week with all the storms. Stayed in a cabin in town where Spring Creek runs through the town all the waterfalls are accessible by short walks. The three waterfalls are Newtown falls and Beechworth falls and Woolshed falls great to swim in or have a picnic like these two girls are while enjoying mother nature and a whole watermelon (Woolshed Falls).. 13.01.2022 So many hidden gems in Victoria, a great place to go is Stepping Stones Big Peninsula Tunnel 15mins from Warburton. The tunnel was dug in 1864, during the Victorian gold rush by gold miners.

13.01.2022 Last night sunset Cape Woolamai was crazy the winds were blowing a gale couldn't use a tripod so all hand held pictures.. It was raining out in the bay forgot to take note of the direction of the wind, by the end of the sunset the storm was over the top of me totally soaked for the 2km walk back to the car . 10.01.2022 A few pictures from my early Monday morning drove down to Toora stayed in a cabin and photograph Wilson Promontory. Parked the car at Tidal River and walked to Elephant rock, took shots of Norman beach while walking over the mountain to Squeaky Beach. Shot some waves smashing in to the rocks and the later that night drove to Angus Falls. In the morning got up and drove back to Wilson Promontory to photograph Whiskey bay its so beautiful this cove. Victoria is blessed to have ...a wild hardly untouched sanctuary place like Wilson Promontory rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife and the best beaches in Victoria. This is the birthday of a client's son so she wanted the moon on this date. It was only around 10% at the time but l liked the clients philosophy the moon is only part like his life is only partly known, with lots to explore..

02.01.2022 Day drive today went to check out Malmsbury Railway Bridge so glad I did such a great place to take pictures specially when the Coliban River is flowing under the bridge. Will have to go back and do it at night the milky way would look fantastic with this bridge.

01.01.2022 Lot of people have asked me a good place to go camp put up a tent with the family. One of my favorite places is Murrindindi one hour from Healesville and 1:45 from Melb CBD it has six campsites and two picnic areas are situated along the Murrindindi River. Great hiking with Murrindindi river running along all camping grounds with great walks to Murrindindi cascades and Wilhelmina Falls.
