25.01.2022 Million dollar Barra update, A lucky tourist from Queensland ,Mark Iseppi caught a $10,000 Barramundi in the Daly river NT on Australia day. This was the 6th one caught so far this season, that leaves another 94 x $10,000 Barra still in the water along with the 4 x $1,000,000 ones. There has never been a better time to go Barra fishing in the Top End..

23.01.2022 BARRA FISHING AFTER CORONA ! There has been very little good news to report up until now. Finally we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. If all goes as per the Prime Ministers three stage plan, we could be up and barra fishing again by August. To be on the safe side we are planning for september. Suffice to say there will still be plenty of good spring time barra fishing leading into the "buildup" season. Also with no fishing done in the "run off" months, the waters s...hould be clear and likely packed with barra. Obviously bookings will be heavy with lots of fishing starved anglers looking to lock in the best tide times and fishing guides. We are not requesting any deposit payments for clients until we are certain that restrictions have been lifted. So if you have a date in mind we will tentatively hold it for you until it is safe to proceed, at such times then we will request a deposit. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Phils Barra

23.01.2022 Hello and thank you to all of our followers ! Sorry we have been a bit slow with updates but from now on we will make them more regular and keep you better informed. Speaking of that we are currently looking for two anglers to make up a fishing crew of 3 on the 3rd,4th & 5th September 2018, Barra fishing the Finniss river and overnighting on our 50 ft Mother ship,the Beagle Gulf.. Special price consideration will be made to fill these spots.

22.01.2022 Programme runs from 1st October until 28th February, with 100 x $10,000 and 1 only $1,000,000 tagged Barra to be caught.

21.01.2022 The Shane Twycross group certainly caught a wide variety of species, GTs, Shark, Barra and Queenies to name a few, no wonder they had to rest with a cold beer after each days hard work !!

18.01.2022 This is our current 2018 "Build Up" special that works out at $3,150 PP, for the 5 day package with 3 days Barra fishing. Normal listed price is $3,600 PP so a great saving at $3,150 plus we will reduce this back to an even $3,000 each for two more anglers to fill the 3rd,4th & 5th of September fishing days, flying up on the 2nd and home on the 6th.

13.01.2022 Happy New Year to our facebook followers. By now we hope you would have all seen our post introducing the special $2450 PP quad share five day package to Cairns ! Thank you, we have been overwhelmed by the responce to date, so much so that we have had to put a deadline on bookings received at this rate. We will hold the introductory booking offer open for another 30 days until Wednesday19th February 2020. This time they have chosen Dundee Beach/ Finniss River with mother ship accommodation and looking to catch the Million dollar Barra. 13.01.2022 NEWS FLASH ! Big changes to this seasons Million dollar barra promotion. Same start date 1st October 2018 but now extends until 31st March. 2019 ! Not only that but if a million dollar barra is not caught during this period it will be extended until 30th September 2019. In addition there will now be 5, one million dollar tagged Barra and the usual 100 x $10,000 tagged Barra. Plus 20 x $5,000 tagged charity Barra, where you have to donate half ($2,500) to a charity. 10.01.2022 The so called poor Top End fishing season !!! With next to zero run off this year due to the lack of wet season monsoonal rains many anglers have postponed their Barra fishing plans until next year. However, we are delighted to be able to report on two recent groups of ours who defied the odds over the week leading into Easter. Firstly Robert Campbell , Kevin Bell, Josh Madders and yours truly, on Sunday 14th April we hit the Blue water off Dundee Beach fishing with Jarrod .... We fished our arms off catching Black Jew, Spanish Mackerel and Finger Mark Snapper. Photo samples of some of the catch can be viewed following this post. Day two & three were not so good, fishing the Finniss & Little Finniss rivers with a total score of ONE Barra between four of us. The other group Glen & Robert Merlino,Andy Fileman & Danny Calderon , fished the same days at Shady Camp and nobody had told the fish that it was a bad season ! These four guys fished themselves to a frazel catching well over a hundred mixed Barra and Thread Fin Salmon. There was never a time in the boat that somebody didnt have a fish on !! Their catch included FOUR Metre Plus Barra and this was their first time Barra fishing !!! They wanted to know when the next crook season was so they could come back again ! See photos following.

The Linda, Paul and Glenn group were featured earlier on our Facebook pages getting ready to go and sporting their new Barra tour caps. Seems it certainly brought Linda some good luck and she is still wearing it !!
