23.01.2022 As of Midday today, Phoenix Archery Club is closed until further notice due to COVID-19 and the new stage 1 restrictions. For further information, please message or email the club at [email protected]

21.01.2022 TWO spaces have become available due to double-ups for tomorrow's Come 'n' Try session at 10am. Please remember no booking , no entry.

21.01.2022 Attention Archers on the 21st of March we will be closed for come and try. Unfortunately we will have a shortage of trainers for this day. Members will still be able to shoot after a well needed working bee which we will be holding in the morning. Sorry for any inconvenience and the more workers who can chip in that day the better.

18.01.2022 Hey guys how is every one coping in lock down? I’m tempted to get one of these distractions from Aussie post. They look fun

12.01.2022 Woot looks like Dylan’s going to get more awards

11.01.2022 Hey guys. Hope everyone is well and coping with the isolation. Any one getting archery withdrawal yet? I know I am! Below are some archery games I found on iOS and I’m sure there are just as many on Android. ... I know it’s not the real thing but it's better than nothing. Keep positive guys. We’ll be back before to long.

10.01.2022 For the people asking if they could shoot at home.

08.01.2022 Please be advised because of the current outbreak of COVID-19. We have been instructed by Archery Victoria to suspend Come n Try for the foreseeable future. Sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused. We look forward to bringing back Come n try to Phoenix as soon as it is safe to do so.

08.01.2022 Just to let everyone know, our Come 'n' Try for this Saturday is fully booked out. Please remember we are not accepting public entry into the building without a booking and deposit. Covid-19 has forced us to change the way to run our Come 'n' Try program. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. For those booked in, we can't wait to meet you and see you on the shooting line

07.01.2022 Come 'n' Try Saturday 19th of December Info. Shortly, the club will be sending out a booking link to all the people who were on the list to be contacted for Come 'n' Try over the past 9 months. If any spots are still available after a couple of hours, the link will go live on Facebook! Please note, due to Covid-19, we now have a strict NO booking, NO entry policy for members of the public. This is due to the number of people enquiring for Come 'n' Try, social distancing on the shooting line, and contact tracing purposes if required. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

06.01.2022 Phoenix Archery Club will be starting back up next weekend Saturday 11th of July to members only on reduced hours. This means we will not be holding any Come 'n' Try sessions at this stage. This is in the best interests of our instructors, members, and the general public. Due to the current restrictions of only being allowed 20 people inside the venue and mainly because archery is a sport where you place the string so close to your mouth and on your face. The club is not allowing the sharing of equipment. Members will only be allowed to touch their own equipment and target faces as we return to something that looks very different. We will continue to review the COVID-19 second-wave outbreak and hope to get the public back into our club soon. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Phoenix Archery Club Committee.

05.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE. We love the fact we are getting so many enquiries about people would want to learn the sport of archery. Sadly at the moment, we still can not open due to Covid-19. Unfortunately we don't know ourselves when we will be allowed to re open and this saddens us greatly. Even though we would love to, this depends on a number of factors, including the Victorian government, Archery Australia & Victoria and the fact we hire indoors at a local high school. Re opening... is totally out of our control at the moment as much as we all miss being able to shoot. As soon as we have more information, we will update everyone on our page. Please note due to the sharing of bows and arrows the chances of being able to run come n try will not be offered when the club first re opens. Archery Australia has placed a hold on come 'n' try for the foreseeable future during these unprecedented times. This is in the best interest of everyone's health and safety and helping of stopping the spread. Thank you for your understanding. Phoenix Archery Club.
