23.01.2022 Adoption Update: Murphy (aka Monet) turned one today. We are told he is a typical ginger cat . Monet came into PARH Care when his mum and litter mates a few days old were transferred from a shelter. Murphy has grown into a stunning fellow

22.01.2022 These photos say it all Xena desperately wanted that birthday cake but like a good girl she resisted that big temptation.

20.01.2022 Banksia the PARH kitten is cheering on the footy tonight. We think she is barracking for Geelong Cats, but Foster Carer is sure Banksia is cheering on the Richmond Tigers. Thoughts ??

19.01.2022 Two more pound cat lives saved! Today we transported two cats from the Horsham pound to the safety of two other rescue groups. One of the cats was pregnant so a great outcome for her and soon to be babies. Another ride to freedom thank you to the groups that continue to work with us so these cats do not loose their lives when we can not fit them into our local program.

18.01.2022 Please join us in welcoming these 8 beautiful pups to the PARH Family. Bloodlines are Labrador x American Staffy. Absolutely gorgeous. Please note: we are not taking any enquiries for adoption. We are looking for additional foster carers for pups and kittens. PM us if your interested in fostering through PARH. You need to reside close to Horsham for fostering our pups & kittens.

16.01.2022 Oh Pigeon . Our ginger boy is such a character and always has so much to say! Tonight he chatted to his foster carer whilst she had a shower . If anyone is looking for a talkative, people focussed and affectionate kitten then Pigeon may be the kitty for you. Pigeon traveled in an empty grain silo from Nhill to Yaapeet only found when the farmer exited his vehicle and heard him crying. Obviously Pigeon figured that worked out well for him so he continues to chat away....always has a story to tell.

14.01.2022 We are currently seeking some additional foster carers for our kittens. We like our kittens to be in family homes so they get used to being handled, used to the natural household noises and hustle and bustle. If you have space in your home, heart and life for a couple of foster kittens for a few weeks whilst they get all of their vet work completed please private message us. Help us save more lives by becoming a PARH Kitten Foster Carer.

14.01.2022 Daisy is in prime spot to watch the NRL final and we believe she is cheering for Melbourne Storm

13.01.2022 The gorgeous Wren has been adopted and is wreaking havock in her new home attacking toes and smooching everyone. Wren was hand bottle raised after being found in a grain storage facility. Thank you Sam for all those hours bottle raising Wren and helping her to be the cheeky, active and human focussed kitten she is.

10.01.2022 Quinn is becoming more confident and her head abcess is clearing up nicely. At only 8 months old herself she is doing and amazing job raising 4 kittens. When she came into PARH you could see her spine and hip bones protruding. She had literally given everything she had to keep them alive. She is putting on weight and her personality is starting to shine.

09.01.2022 Gentle Reminder - We are asking people to please be respectful, patient and curtious . PARH is run 100% by volunteers. Our furry family members are in foster care in family homes. With COVID-19 we are continuing to try to protect everyone so we ask the following; 1. If you make an appointment to meet one of our furry family members - please attend at your allocated time. No shows are disrespectful and a waste of our volunteers time. They have family, jobs and pets to care for... too. If for some reason you can't attend please contact us. We are happy to rearrange times. 2. If you are searching for a suitable furry family member through various rescue groups or private homes then please let us know. We have no issues with this but we will try and make a time to visit the foster carer at a time when we can adequately cover ourselves and our animals. Visiting numerous homes/venues in a row increases the risks of spreading diseases including COVID-19. We keep our COVID Safety Plan seriously. 3. Please read our posts about when animals are available for adoption. We are volunteers and our time is constantly filled with multiple tasks. We don't have the time to respond to every message immediately. We will get back to you when we can. 4. Thank you for your continued support. It is a very busy and expensive time of the year. Every like and share helps us find great homes for our Furry Family Members. 5. Thank you for reading this post.

04.01.2022 Adoption Update : Hi Carolyn! I just wanted to share that Joey (formerly Lang, and often Joseph when he is naughty ) has been immortalised by Melbourne pen artist Indigo O'Rourke We already think he is a work of art but now it's a fact. How spectacular is that picture. Joey is certainly a spectacular Wimmera kelpie specimen living the dream with his mum Meg. Thank you for sharing
