25.01.2022 Miss Sophie and Miss Bonnie are super proud of all the students who attended our first online classes tonight while Phoenix Dance QLD follows through with social distancing. We had 8 dancers join our online classroom and practice their Irish dancing right there in their living room. This shows lots of dedication and a great attitude! We are very proud of our committed dancers!

20.01.2022 What a big day!! Our primary dancers did their first ever workshop today and they absolutely smashed it we all went home very tired and with sore feet but also with lots of new steps and new skills. Your teachers are super proud of you!!

11.01.2022 We just want to say a big thank you to all the families who participated in our first ever Phoenix Dance Movie night... online! It was a little glitchy (Miss Sophie accidentally got it stuck on the subtitle setting screen at one point) but it was so great to do something all together outside of class. Also a big happy birthday to our dancers Lilly and Jake who are both having a birthday in the next week - we sang a group happy birthday to them before the movie started!

04.01.2022 We did it!!! Our Primary class finally learnt the end of St Patrick's Day!! Not everyone has it all joined together yet but for most of the kids they have learnt this whole dance plus their beginner heavy jigs in 10 weeks - proud is an understatement Excuse the shaking! We filmed with a tripod *Our classes are run in line with COVID safe protocols, this video was filmed as a special moment with everyone dancing together*

04.01.2022 Dance schools are all being impacted by the current rulings that place us in the same category as gyms and indoor sports centres (despite our lack of contact and equipment) and with the 20 per maximum applied to an entire premises (not classroom) at this stage many will be unable to return.

02.01.2022 Very, very proud of all our dancers who competed at the AIDA Queensland Spring Feis today! It was our first feis of the year and everyone gave 110% - many of them trying new dances for the very first time! Pepper, Eabha, Paris and Sienna all danced their Primary reel for the first time Pepper and Paris danced their Beginner Treble Jig for the first time Sienna and Megan danced their Single Jig and Slip Jigs for the first time... Now on to a fun last week of Term 3!
