25.01.2022 Next in the studio to record her final vocals for the Phoenix Album was the bubbly Charlee Tjepkema, with her song ‘Listen. 18.01.2022 Sending love and hugs to all, as we start this 6 week journey I understand that many people have already had enough of restrictions and lock downs. Your whole life/world has been turned upside down. Nothing is what you had imagined, nor planned it to be.... For some, it may of already had a detrimental affect (loss of income, businesses and a diminish in mental health, just to name a few) but is there any other choice? It is another 42 days out of our lives and it's not going to be easy... but our lives are worth it! Start the countdown!! There is light at the end of this tunnel! If you haven't heard from someone in a while... please reach out to them! Everyone needs to know that they are not alone! Stay safe, stay well, stay sane and stay home. 09.01.2022 We are excited to announce that we welcomed our newest crew member to the Phoenix Ensemble! This guy has an abundance of talent and just check out those guitars! Johno Johnston, is one brilliant guitarist and prior to current restrictions, he set the Red Room Studio on fire recording some phenomenal electric and bass tracks on the album! ... 01.01.2022 As we start day 10 of the 42-day lock down, we hope you are all keeping well and staying home, where possible. Whilst we are in the ‘same virulent storm’ together, we are all ‘navigating our own boats’ individually. For some people, it’s not too hard to do. Other people may be struggling and usually don’t speak out. Please remember to check in with loved ones, friends and neighbours to make sure they are ok. While you’re at it, don’t forget to check in with yoursel...f ....and be kind! Music is food for the soul, so you can imagine how delighted we were to have the gorgeous Claudia Mather in the studio recording final vocals on her song Where is Home A very appropriate song, given that’s where we all should be right now! 01.01.2022 Here we go again folks with round 2 of Lock down! Not saying it's going to be easy, but we've done it before and we can do it again! Fortunately, we had opportunity to have some of the Phoenix crew into the studio BEFORE this second wave and subsequent lock down.
