Having never really been one for token iceberg lettuce, tomato & cucumber type salads, I’m always struggling for ideas, but it’s crazy how a bit of lime or lemongrass & fresh herbs like coriander can turn a salad into a different thing altogether. 05.01.2022 P O S T U R E When exercising, Your sessions should include whole body strength & postural stability. The upper body is such a crucial part of good posture. Posture is important in maintaining symmetry in every plane of movement - front to back, right to left & top to bottom. Our muscles & joints are meant to work in good alignment. Women in particular need to pay extra attention & it’s all because of one word....... BOOBS!... This body part shifts our balance toward the front of our upper body. This shift in balance makes it so important to maintain good arm, back & core strength to support alignment & symmetry. Since we spend most of our time doing things in front of us, we tend to tighten our chest & wind up weakening the upper back, shoulders & stabilisers. 04.01.2022 B O X I N G There is a technique to learning the art of boxing & like anything, bad habits are hard to break. Learn by experienced trainers at our brother company & they’ll teach & maintain good alignment & functionality. Good form or technique will allow you to engage your muscles better & more consistently. If your form is sloppy you will be using other muscle groups to perform each action, meaning less performance & more exhaustion. Every time you move you should be...come more efficient & autonomous. Good technique is THE key to success no matter if you are chasing improved sports performance or you just want to stay safe in the gym.
