25.01.2022 Hello member, Our next Phoenix MCC and Cafe Racer Club joint meeting will be held at Cafe Racer Club rooms, the Velocette Club Drayton st Brompton at 7 pm Tuesday November 5th There is 1 agenda Phoenix MCC and Cafe Racer Club are in serious discussions regarding an amalgamation to form one Road Race Club, as a member we would like your attendance to have your say and cast a vote on weather or not you would like this to happen. If an amalgamation is voted for the club committe...es will then work on the amalgamation process, at a later date a Special Meeting will be held to vote in a new constitution we will then have a vote on, wether the amalgamated clubs retain the name Cafnix or change to South Australian Road Race Club or Adelaide Road Racers or ?? 25.01.2022 Hi all, As a committee we need to explain where we are at for the Nov 9-10 meeting at The Bend. The clubs are set up to run as non profit organisations, which means that we don't run these race meets for profit, but solely to provide an opportunity for you all to race at The Bend at a club level. So far we only have 70 riders signed up to race at The Bend, with many pulling out at the last minute due to a variety of reasons. Although we understand that there are priorities i...n life, your participation at these kinds of meetings is important. At the current level of riders, we are projecting a fairly substantial finacial loss. This means that future race meeting at The Bend, or even at Mallala will be at risk and we cannot gurarantee that we will host events there again. We are forced to take such measures to protect the fincial viability of the clubs. So there are a few things you can do to help us help you. 1. Enter the race meeting: We will keep entries open. 2. Sign up for the ride day on the Saturday: We have put an awesome deal where 2 people can ride for $500. Without your participations, there isn't really much point in continuing to hold race meetings. The clubs are here to provide for you, but this means you all need to prioritise clubs events like The Bend. Thank you Cafnix

24.01.2022 With 7 weeks until Round 1 at The Bend Motorsport Park, entries have been flooding in. See below the current list of entries. We have received our largest Roun...d 1 Superbike field, with a total of 20 Superbikes. Some entrants will do both VRRC & SA titles in 2020, and some VRRC competitors are coming from interstate and a contingent from Tasmania, which is awesome! So far we only have 8 Supersport 600's and 4 Supersport 300's entered in the VRRC for Round 1. This round is a Championship Round for SS600 & SS300, so there are plenty of points up for grabs! We also need more SS600 riders from Victoria to help us win the Interstate Challenge Cup. You can also enter the feature races (Steve Martin Cup & Reece Bancel Trophy) or the Race Your Mates for extra track time. The Northern Hairpin has been shaved, and 50mm... of top spec A5E hotmix has been laid down today, and rolled and compressed to 40mm. The crew said they couldn't have asked for better weather to lay tarmac, the 45C temps being ideal. New Management. Damian Reed has been recently appointed to manage the facilities, taking over from Guy Tyler who has moved on to a new role - still involving driving of course! We wish Guy all the best, and thank him for his efforts. We would also like to give a massive thanks to all our staff, volunteers, clients, competitors, spectators and suppliers for all your support, and we look forward to making 2020 another fantastic year of Motorsport in South Australia. 19.01.2022 Hi to all customers I am currently on a European vacation. Then heading to Germany to further my investment with the flooring game. I hope I speak for all of u...s when you need to chase dreams you need to act. Pallmann is the name & timber flooring is the game. I have been given the opportunity to represent a leading brand in Australia. In a fortnight’s time I will be undergoing training to further my knowledge with Pallmann lacquer. Also looking forward to passing on my knowledge to the Australian market. I will be holding trade nights australia wide. As a individual I feel there is room to improve the flooring trade with a superior german coating. (Pallmann) Unfortunately many of us & myself have been only exposed to a handful of water base labels on Australian market. So stay posted. Pallmann is its name. And timber is its game. We understand that there are many motorsport events scheduled in the coming weeks, however there has been no need to cancel any events (aside from the Australian Grand Prix) as of Saturday, 14 March. Motorsport Australia’s COVID-19 internal working group will continue to meet regularly and will work to ensure that all licence holders, officials, clubs and event organisers are provided with up to date information as required. At this stage, all permits issued remain valid and there is no requirement for events to be postponed or cancelled. All event organisers should also now be aware of the Federal Government’s announcement warning against any public gatherings of over 500 spectators. Given the majority of grassroots events would fall below this number, it should have no impact on club and state level events. Event organisers are of course encouraged to utilise hand sanitisers where possible, and ensure good hygiene practices are encouraged through signage and any communications. All attendees at events are reminded to follow the government’s advice, and if they feel unwell should not attend.
