05.01.2022 My heart goes out to the family and friends of a local "gentle giant", Wayne Dover . Wayne will be farewelled at the local Baptist church, Wises rd, Maroochydore Wednesday 11th December at 2pm. His tragic death was senseless and unprovoked. In the early hours of Saturday morning 30/11/2013 Wayne was set upon by 3 men who allegedly punched him to the ground and kicked him to death. How many times does this have to happen before the courts will make a stand and punish these thu...gs properly. Wayne has not only been tragically taken from his family but he has been taken from our community. A man who has given so much will be sadly missed forever. Drysdale Funerals Maroochydore will conduct Wayne's funeral tomorrow which is expected to be a very large gathering of family, friends, work mates and all the Coast football teams. It will be a hard day and my love and support is there for his family. Donations would be appreciated for the QLD Victims of Homicide See more
