Russell has been down some very rough dirt roads and through the lowest signal areas in Australia, the SatKing ProMax passed with flying colours. See below a quick rundown from Russell about where he traveled: Our travels started in Perth over the Nullarbor Through Sth Aust to Broken Hill. From there over to Willcania then on the dirt up the west... road following the Darling River. From there to Bourke then over the border to Cunnamulla. From there east to Brisbane. After Brissy we travelled to Roma then up towards Emerald.Through to Longreach, Winton and on to Mount Isa. From Mt Isa we headed to the border at Camoowheel and onto Barkley roadhouse and 3 ways to the Stuart hwy. to head to Alice Springs. After a stay at Alice we headed to Yulara or Ayres Rock After that we tackled the longest short cut in Australia on the Great Central Road to Laverton in W A. This road is about 1200 ks in length through the Gibson desert, Len Beddels country. We passed through the communities of Docker River, Warakurna, Warburton, Tjukayirla to Laverton. See more

Pulse FM will use these for re-broadcasting BBC radio and the community radio network. Pulse FM is a small community narrowcast radio station operating in the Kingborough and Huon region of Tasmania. 02.01.2022 Burnie & Heather are travelling around Nth QLD at the moment with their SatKing Promax fully automatic satellite TV dish. See their update below: At present we are back in Townsville after a short 2 week trip out to the bush. We camped beside a river, about 50Km South West of Charters Towers, happily enjoying the solitude and successfully being able to watch all the TV channels with our ProMax. We then got a warning notice from our daughter, Emmah, in Townsville warning about... a deluge of rain coming, we had to move reluctantly. Ha! it wont worry us I said and stopped another day, but a near washout from our track concerned me being about 300mm deep. Packing up in pouring rain and mud everywhere, was not fun, and it didnt stop for 24 hours after we arrived back in Townsville and parked safe. 250mm dropped in 1 day. So much for sunny Far North Queensland. Regards, Bernie
