The Maribyrnong Youth Advisory Committee put together this video of its members to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity that makes up our community. The survey aims to capture information regarding the impacts of Covid-19. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.... It includes questions about how life has changed since the Covid-19 emergency began. 11.01.2022 Huge congratulations to Georgia, who has just passed her test and received her Driver's Licence!! Georgia has been a part of the Maribyrnong L2P Program for over a year. She has been a dedicated Learner Driver in the L2P program, and throughout Covid-19 she continued to have lessons where she could and eventually applied for Hardship Application Priority Testing through Vic Roads. Georgia said, "Without the L2P Program, I wouldnt have been able to get my licence for ano...ther few years. My mentor Djibril taught me a lot of driving tips and all about the dos and donts. I recommend the L2P Program to anyone who is in a difficult situation and needs help with driving. Thank you Caitlyn (L2P Officer) and Frank (Driving Instructor) you have both been really great especially through these few months. Thank you for helping me with my hardship application, you made me feel welcome and gave me the support to be able to achieve this. Well done Georgia!! So happy that all your hard work has paid off!

04.01.2022 Some exciting news from young learner driver, Yohanna who just got her Driving Licence! She has been a part of the Maribyrnong TAC L2P Program for the past 2 years. With her mentor, Martina, Yohanna has been driving regularly working towards getting her 120 hours of driving practice. Without having her licence, finding employment has been difficult for Yohanna. She has struggled to pursue opportunities based on her limited working availability and reliance of public tr...ansport. Yohanna said, I had no experience, this program gave me that experience and it means a lot to me. My mentor helped me become strong and more confident in my driving. Thank you, without this program I wouldnt have gotten the chance to learn how to drive. I appreciate it all. Today, we celebrate Yohannas victory and a new chapter in her life. Congratulations Yohanna!
