10.01.2022 What happens to your phone when you drop it into water? Why is it getting hot? Why does it work sometimes and other times it does not? If your phone has gone for a swim in the bath, the pool or even the toilet, then you should be aware that it CAN be saved from certain death! Remember, time is at the essence, DO NOT turn it on, plug into a charger or try feeding it rice. If you want to try to save it moments after the accident, turn it off, try a hair dryer, air compressor or... if its an oldie, pull the battery out. Air flow and mild heat will help. Even shaking it about can help to draw the water out. Did you know, when you plug a water damaged device into a power supply (charger) thats when all the damage begins. The liquid allows short circuits to occur and when this happens, it fries the circuitry. Best hope you have?
