13.02.2022 As we make the final preparations for PHOTO 2022 International Festival of Photography, we invite you to consider a donation to help us make our upcoming biennial an exceptional experience. The whole festival will explore the contemporary human condition, and once more we are commissioning dozens of artists to create new work for sites across the city. All funds raised go directly to support artists and audiences by: - Supporting the commissioning and production of new art i...n public spaces across Melbourne - Providing professional development to emerging artists through the delivery of our education programs - Helping us to subsidise our expansive program of events during the Festival, so that we can continue to provide universal access to diverse, progressive and meaningful discourse. If you are in a position to donate, no matter what size, we would love your assistance. Donations of $1000 and above will be acknowledged in the PHOTO 2022 Festival Guide (received by 20 January) and on our website, and donations of $200 and above on our website. We appreciate that support is not just financial, we encourage you to show your support by liking and sharing posts on social media, and to sign up to our mailing list for more news and updates! 09.01.2022 Excited to announce New York-based photographer David Rothenberg is the winner of the inaugural PHOTO 2021 x Perimeter International Photobook Prize with his book Roosevelt Station which will be published by Perimeter Books and launched at PHOTO 2021. Drawing on a series of photographs made between 2019 and 2020 in the Jackson HeightsRoosevelt Avenue/74th Street train station in Queens, New York, Roosevelt Station proves at once mundane and almost ethereal in its tenor.
