23.01.2022 The Photographer's Wardrobe does Frocktober! This year the Photographer's Wardrobe (and Trish of course) will be joining in Frocktober 2011. To support the cause Trish will be wearing (at least) a dress a day during October. Also I'll be discounting my hire fees for dresses, and donating all proceeds to the cause, during the month. If you need wardrobe for an upcoming shoot, would like to help capture my Frocktober fashions, or need to expand your own Frocktober wardrobe, please get in touch!

14.01.2022 Sweet 1950's wedding gown. This lovely "Kenilworth" model gown is a vintage sz 36. Modern 8? The outer layer of the dress is a white chiffon and is embellished with lace at the wrists and neck and three lines of lace on the darted waist. there is a tulle covered satin bustier inside the chiffon outer layer of the top. The skirt is made of many layers. Two starched linen underskirts. A satin lining. Two layers of tulle net and finally the top layer of chiffon.

13.01.2022 The perils of maintaining a vintage clothing collection. Though the photo isn't brilliant you can still see the colour change post hand washing. From a soft olive on the shoulder pad I removed to a brighter mint on the jacket below. It also shrunk a little in the process.

12.01.2022 The linen-ish petticoat of my new 50's wedding dress is hardening up as it dries... Phew! thought i was going to have to learn how to starch it!

12.01.2022 The Photographer's Wardrobe is impatiently waiting for new dresses...

06.01.2022 The Photographer's Wardrobe has in excess of 8...12... (okay now it's probably not cool to say) bridal outfits. It started with one skirt, and grew from there. This album contains the more modern dresses (90's or later). Some of these items are even available for 'Trash the Dress' shoots, though we would obviously prefer to get the items back in one piece!

01.01.2022 The photographer's wardrobe just added 12 vintage wedding dresses to the collection!!!!!!!!! Now I just hope they arrive safe and sound from the US!
