22.01.2022 Yesterday's beautiful Catch Me, Kiss Me wedding was for Emma & Chris and what a fabulous day it was! Emma looked stunning in a classic gown while Chris looked very handsome in grey. Young William wasn't all that impressed though Grandma Sandra did manage to get him to smile for a couple of family shots. Bronwyn created a beautiful ceremony while Osyth and I had the pleasure of capturing all the special moments. We all wish Emma & Chris all the love and happiness for their future together. xx

22.01.2022 Ann was the Celebrant at a recent wedding we photographed and, the first thing Ann told me was that she didn't look good in photos. I know how she feels but, I wanted her to know that it's all about feeling relaxed and ignoring the camera. So I took a few photos of her while we were having a chat and this is the result. A gorgeous shot of a truly beautiful person. Ann contacted me when she saw the first shot - she loved it and promised me it was the best photo she'd ever had taken. Ann's running for local council in North Queensland and wanted a copy of the photo for her campaign. I suggested that with the help of photoshop, I could remove the fascinator, create some new hair in its' place and clean up the background. The second photo is the end result.

19.01.2022 Yesterday Osyth & I had the pleasure of photographing Angela & Hurells beautiful wedding at The Chapel at Montville. It was a perfect day that will be the start of a perfect union of a couple so obviously made for one another. This is a quick sneak peek that I hope youll enjoy.

16.01.2022 Despite yesterdays rain at Coolangatta, we managed to find a little covered space down by the barbecue to capture some family photos for Carol & Ken.

16.01.2022 Weddings don't have to cost a bundle to be truly beautiful and Jessica and Lindsay proved just that when they exchanged their vows, in front of their closest family, at Elephant Rock recently. With just an hour of photography, we still managed to capture all those important moments. Following the ceremony & photos, they enjoyed dinner at the adjacent surf club. Just perfect!

In a beautiful ceremony during which their good friend Ann married them, there were tears, laughter and much joy. Osyth & I wish them all the happiness in their future. Not only is she super organised, known for writing personalised ceremonies and assisting couple with writing their vows, but she knows when to get out of the frame. 12.01.2022 If you're looking for something interesting to do today, get along to the Restitch Exhibition at the Plant Empire Christmas market at Yeerongpilly. Yesterday I photographed the parade at the Brisbane Botanical Gardens but we have a number of new craftspeople displaying their up cycling work today. The parade is at 12 midday and you'll be blown away by the creativity on display.

11.01.2022 I love watching an artist at work and Angel Lucianna is a true artist! Her ability to transform hair from ordinary to amazing leaves me breathless. On this day, Angel added beautiful hair extensions to our model Isabella's hair for an ultra-glam look. Just gorgeous!

11.01.2022 Yesterday we had the pleasure of photographing Brooke & Claire's wedding day. After the Registry Office ceremony, Osyth and I took our two brides off to the Mt Coot-Tha Botanical Gardens for photos, then back to The Elephant for a very relaxed celebration. With their closest family and friends there to share their day, it truly was a perfect day.

07.01.2022 I'm a keen golfer and one of my favourite clients has recently worked with the PGA to supply hand sanitiser in nifty little clip-on carry packs for golfers. Hopefully we'll soon see them in all pro shops so that we can keep safe on course.

05.01.2022 When the Lockyer Valley Regional Council decide to hold "An Evening Under the Stars with Alistair McLeod", you get the idea that this could be one of the best nights ever - and it was! Featuring all local produce, the meal was simply beautiful, the setting gorgeous, Phil Vellacott's music perfect and the repartee, between Alistair and the guest primary producers, entertaining. MC for the evening was the very talented Tracy Vellacott, who kept the evening moving along smoothly. Hopefully, this will be the first of many such dinners that I'll have the pleasure of photographing.

Surrounded by their loved ones, they shared their vows to each other and then to their darling daughters. And those vows, and the girls response to them, meant that there wasnt a dry eye anywhere - including mine
