24.01.2022 The Humpback Highway is chockers!.... No COVID travel restrictions with these guys. The ocean was on the wind blown side of calm (no swell but choppy) there was... still plenty of action. Culled the shots down to hopefully "not too many", but anyone coming down this way should hook up with Merimbula Marina and True Blue to get their whale kicks this season. See more

14.01.2022 This fella was having dinner in the back yard when I went down to divert the irrigation water. Did not appreciate me interrupting his meal. Poor little duck was a bit slow. I think it's a Peregrine Falcon but happy to be corrected by more adept raptor knowledge.

12.01.2022 A quick day trip over to Jindabyne to see family, resulting in a hike to the Jindy trig station. Thanks Gary Dunbar for instigating the hike. Nothing like the twisted toughness and resilience of Snow Gums for inspiration. The pano is the main range from the trig.
