25.01.2022 Hi all, Well, this will be the ninth year in a row that PPIB has sponsored the AIPP and Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA's). We have seen many changes within the Photographic Industry over that period of time and PPIB have continued to meet those changes in a positive way when they required specialist Insurance knowledge and attention.... On reflection of our time with the members of AIPP over that period, my staff and I have created long term and endearing friendships with many of you. At renewal time it’s more like old friends week as we continue to provide our services. More importantly, Jacqui Thomson and her specialist team have made certain that the settlement of claims is the most important aspect of our obligation to ALL of our Photographer Clients. At the time of a serious claim, it no longer matters how much premium you paid for the Policy, it’s the immediate attention, service and settlement that becomes the utmost importance in all our minds. Over the past 12 months, the aspect of Drone Insurance for both damage and Liability has become prevalent to many. For others it has been the introduction of Workshops both Locally and overseas that has necessitated sound guidance to ensure Liability cover was in place. PPIB will as always seek ways to provide specialist cover for all of your requirements at the most competitive premiums we can. PPIB have new products to launch so watch this space. PPIB wish you all well at the APPAS this year. The quality of the Art/Prints produced is the best in the world. Stewart Maher Managing Director http://www.photoinsurance.com.au/

04.01.2022 Hello to our friends, clients and followers of the PPIB page. Today I received sad news in relation to the present position of the AIPP. For over 10 years PPIB have been very proud sponsors of the AIPP. During that time ,PPIB, myself and our CEO Jacqui Thomson have developed very sound friendships, client relationships and strong business relationships with our co-sponsors.... We have always known and felt that whilst the AIPP was a professional organisation, it's very core was made up of some of the most talented photographers in the world. The tremendous volunteer support staff were and are second to none. The knowledge bank alone of the membership is extraordinary. Then you through in the basic fun loving friendliness of every active member and you have an organisation that is very worthy indeed. I have little knowledge of how the current position has occurred and I really don't want to know. What I will say is this, history has shown that some of the most successful organisations in the world have seen the need to renew itself before they moved on to greatness. This is what will happen with the AIPP. It will rise like a Phoenix from the flames and will be an organisation that all who profess to be a Professional Photographer will make it mandatory to be known as an AIPP member. This will take time, effort, vigilance, integrity, patience, honesty, intellect and above all loyalty. On behalf of PPIB, our CEO Jacqui Thomson and as Managing Director of our company I pledge our continued support to the re-building and ongoing operation of the AIPP. "C'mon AIPP lets see you fly again" Sincerely Stewart Maher
