21.01.2022 During the lockdown, with all my photography work postponed and cancelled I released my creative energy taking photos of my daughter Emma, I took probably 100 photos playing around with lighting and different poses, there were so many beautiful and fun photos of her but the one that stood out to me was this one. Every time I look at it, it holds my attention, I think it’s a combination of her expression and the lighting that encapsulates my attention and emotion. This is the beauty of portrait photography, to hold your attention and encapsulate the essence of that person, it’s not just a beautiful image. It’s so much more.
