25.01.2022 I wouldn't say it's the worst update to Windows 10 that I've experienced, but "Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363".. the public one if you click the Start menu and search "update" isn't the greatest. It will also be gradually rolled out over the coming weeks. My main gripe is that if I keep my "Notification" icon on "Priority only" and that seems to have changed. If I click it now, it just clears the icon as though nothing happened, while it used to actually bring up a sidebar of... things I might have missed while I was busy... like while actually working. I've just changed it to "Alerts only" tonight so we'll see if that reverts it to previous behavior. Other than that little gripe it's been perfectly fine on my laptop and desktop and I haven't had any trouble so if you click your Start menu and just type "Update" and select "Check for updates" you should be fine. This was mostly a bugfix until we get the next BIG one around March 2020 which will be a larger update.

ESET anti-virus provides excellent protection including a plugin for Microsoft Outlook which provides excellent spam filtering through their cloud reporting and analysis services. I personally find it a great addition to the spam ...filtering provided with a Hotmail or Gmail account when they're setup in MS Outlook. You'll receive your license key within 24-48hrs and can always make contact for support by phone or email if you have any trouble with downloads or license activation.

08.01.2022 The new Windows 10 update is out today - 1809 (KB4457128). You'll need to allow at least 30-60mins for it to install!

05.01.2022 Don't believe every video you see on Facebook or any other video platform, particularly when related to politics/social issues (e.g. anti-vax). It's now surprisingly easy and cheap to create "fake news". That's not in the Trump sense of the term. Basically it takes images from a video of one person and transforms it into the images of another person, even matching lip movement to make you think you're seeing something real
