23.01.2022 Meet Lachlan Lachlan completed the Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University. He has a passion for sports with keen interest in footy, cricket and basketball and he is currently playing football for the Ringwood Redbacks. Going through rehab for a range of different injuries inspired Lachlan to become a physiotherapist to help others to continue playing the sport they love. He is passionate about treating joint and muscle injurie...s that are related to sports, recreational activities and running. Lachlan has played football and basketball for over 15 years and has personally experienced hamstring, quad and calf strains as well as ankle and knee injuries having undergone extensive rehab and injury prevention training programs to continue playing sport injury free. Lachlan has been fortunate enough to learn from Physiotherapists in elite sport settings shadowing physiotherapists at the Gold Coast Suns as well as the AFL umpires. He wishes to pass on the knowledge and experience of working with elite athletes to amateur and local sporting clubs and players. His career goal is to become the local expert and guru in sports related injuries. Lachlan is also a Marathon runner and enjoys spending time in the gym as he enjoys strength and conditioning. He likes developing rehabilitation programs incorporating strength and running to return to sport and optimal performance. He has a strong focus on preventative strength programs and operates on the principle of prevention is always greater than cure. He looks forward to working with a variety of people from many sporting backgrounds to help you achieve your fitness and lifestyle goals.
