This is convenient for post- operative patients needing mobility and exercise advice or the older adult suffering functional decline. Home visits are $140 and patients can claim from their private health fund. The patient or a family member can pay in store and claim using HICAPS. 02.01.2022 Physiotherapist James Witt was invited to speak to the LORDS City to Surf Team. This is a group of enthusiastic runners preparing for race day from the Lords Health and Fitness Centre in Subiaco.James gave an informative presentation on Load and Injury Management . The participants then got to benefit from James's knowledge in strength and conditioning as he demonstrated some running specific strength exercises in the LORDS gym. In his presentation James highlighted recent evidence from research that shows athletic performance(cycling and running, ) will be enhanced if strength training is added to the program.
