03.01.2022 R U OK?Day is today. It’s our national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK? if someone in your world is struggling with life’s ups and downs. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. You don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before they’re in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life. Visit https://www.ruok.org.au/ to find out how a conversation can change a life.

01.01.2022 Each year, on 8 September, we celebrate World Physiotherapy Day on which we recognise the important and trusted role physiotherapists play in the community to improve the health of their patients. The theme for World Physiotherapy Day 2020 is "rehabilitation after severe respiratory illness" and the role that physiotherapy and physical activity can have in helping people through recovery. At PhysioChoice we appreciate the hard work our physios put in day in, day out - especially so far in 2020 - and we take a moment to thank them all. They keep us going despite everything, and that's no small thing!
