24.01.2022 Physio Focus Orange will be gradually re-opening for consults from Thursday 30th April. Bookings can be made on 63602388 or via HotDoc. Social distancing will be in place with the waiting area on the verandah. Online consults likely to be coming very soon.
22.01.2022 UPDATE: As of April 14 a number of private health insurers will be providing rebates for physiotherapy telehealth consultations. There are a number of restrictions to this which are still being ironed out. There is also talk of Medicare rebates being offered. More information regarding this is due to be released by the government on Monday. ... So it is possible that I will be able to offer some telehealth consults from next week. All you will need is a smartphone, laptop or computer and an internet connection. Hold tight for more updates to come.
14.01.2022 With the advent of the COVID19, I have made the difficult decision to cease providing physiotherapy services for the near future. This seems to be a fast evolving issue that looks to be gaining momentum and I do not want to be a part of the problem for any of my valued patients. Given that the best advice is to isolate yourself as much as possible and I operate out of a medical practice, I do not want to be bringing people closer to possible exposure to this or any other ill...ness during this period of uncertainty. This has been a difficult decision but I feel that it is the correct decision at this time. However this may change depending on the advice that is provided in the future. To any current patients, please feel free to email me with how you are going as I am still happy to provide assistance in any way that I can. I am in the process of investigating telehealth options and understand the government might be making rebates available for physiotherapy services from next week. I will keep you updated.
