25.01.2022 Good morning PhysioLife family! As you may have heard in the news today, Covid-19 virus has now been declared a pandemic by WHO. Physiotherapy services will co...ntinue, but please can we ask that you cancel if you are unwell. ESPECIALLY if you have and cold and flu like symtoms. As we treat quite a number of elderly patients, it is important that we do our bit to protect them also. If you are unsure about whether you should cancel your appointment, Please call us on 9459 5849. For more information there is a 24hr hotline that has been set up and can be reached at 1800 020 080. A lot of us are going to get it, but there a a few things you can do to minimise its impact, by continuing/ starting healthy habits *. drink lots (water!) *. get plenty of sleep *. moderate exercise (for you) * quit smoking (quitline 137848) There is lots of advice re minimising your likelihood of getting the virus.

Hanging from a bar can be a great way to stretch the shoulder capsule and other soft tissue structures such: Lats, pecs and teres major. ... Begin by finding a bar and aim for a 20-30 second hold, slowly increasing duration over time.
