25.01.2022 Personal highlights from the virtual Australasian Lymphology Conference. Dr Amanda Pigott and Louise Koelmeyer are clinician-researchers driving evidence-based clinical change. Head and neck lymphoedema management is highly individualised and needs to be uniquely tailored. Pro-active monitoring using bioimpedence spectroscopy (luckily I have this device!) greatly reduces breast cancer related upper limb lymphoedema.

25.01.2022 An exciting few days at the ANZ Head and Neck Cancer conference. Eleven years ago I was the first Physiotherapist to attend this conference. This year there were 4 Physiotherapists.. Sharon Tilley, Orsi Kokai and Janet Lemcke.. from all over Australia doing innovative and great work for head and neck cancer survivors.

20.01.2022 Many head an neck cancer survivors suffer from jaw pain and stiffness. TMJ (jaw joint) and craniomandibular workshop taught by Penny Elliott was incredibly in-depth and hands-on(and in!). Thanks Orsi Kokai for organising an amazing learning opportunity to help us help our clients.

13.01.2022 Hi to everyone and hope you’re all staying well. To reduce current health risks, Physio Living, is now operating via a fantastic video Telehealth service. This secure service has been set up alongside Physitrack, a tailored and interactive rehabilitation platform. This service is offered at a significantly reduced fee. By next week it’s highly likely that a Telehealth rebate will be available for Physiotherapy through both Medicare and private health funds.
