24.01.2022 NO MORE FACE-to-FACE PHYSIOTHERAPY - INTRODUCING TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS To all our valued patients and their families, It is with great regret that due to the COVID-19 situation, Physiopaedics Children’s Physiotherapy has decided to cease providing face-to-face Physiotherapy services from today - Thursday 26.3.2020 - until further notice. Therefore any of your child’s physiotherapy face-to-face appointments in our clinic have been cancelled. ... We have made this difficult decision in keeping with our commitment to ensure the health, well-being and safety of our patients, their families and our staff. We hope that you understand our position and decision during this challenging time. However, in order to continue to provide your child with their ongoing physiotherapy, we are now offering video telehealth Physiotherapy treatment sessions. We are excited to be able to provide this new innovative service to address your child’s physiotherapy needs. We will be contacting all our patients to discuss and explain telehealth consultations and how it works, then organise suitable times should you wish to continue your physiotherapy this way. 22.01.2022 CAMDEN LIONESS & LIONS CLUB RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL KIDS NEEDING WALKING FRAMES I have been very fortunate to be able to get walking frames funded from the Camden Lioness & Lions Club for many of my patients. They have been very generous in funding x5 walkers for my patients in the past 12 months alone! They do a fantastic job and are very supportive and enthusiastic to help the local kids in the Macarthur area. The walking frames funded for these children with special needs... enables them to stand and walk - initially with assistance and with the goal to hopefully walk independently. The Campbelltown-Macarthur Advertiser newspaper did a nice article highlighting the great work of the Camden Lioness & Lions Club as they funded a walking frame for the beautiful Josie-Ellen: http://www.macarthuradvertiser.com.au//camden-lionesses-d/ You can see the big smile and joy in her face as she is able to start taking some steps in her new walking frame! So please support your local Lions Club with any of their fundraising efforts so that they can continue to provide walking frames for these kids with special needs.

20.01.2022 New PB for STEPtember - I got a new personal best for my step count on Saturday 24.9.16 getting over 30,000 steps! This was thanks to a whole day of shoveling soil and laying new turf - all worth it though! 11.01.2022 STEPtember comes to an end! I just wanted to thank everyone for their generosity and support for our team raising money for kids with Cerebral Palsy during this month of STEPtember. We raised an amazing $1907.30 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance! Thank you so much!... Just for the record, during STEPtember.... * Our team did a total of 2,180,236 steps = 27th in Australia for Step Count, 68th in the World. * I did a total of 564,596 steps - that's an average of 20,164 steps a day! * I travelled 420.7km doing x5 personal bests - my highest step count being 30,120 (48,589 if you include the activity steps that day as well). * I woke up at 5-5.30am everyday (except for 2 days) to do my morning walk. Thanks again to everyone for their support, and a special thanks to Daz, Andrew & Chriso - the other members of team "Traxedo Boys" - awesomeness effort guys! Thanks!
