24.01.2022 WHERE CAN I GET PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT? Did you know the UNISA PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINICS are still OPEN! The UniSA Physiotherapy Clinics are continuing to see both adult and paediatric clients via our new TeleHealth service! ... Our students are enjoying working with their experienced clinical educators and clients via our NeoRehab platform and telephone. Nine clinical educators, 33 physiotherapy students and 5 podiatry students will be providing services. This enables UniSA to keep our clinical placements running and service our valued clients - both existing and new. The students have enjoyed the challenge and have learnt new ways of working with clients and families. It has been great for students to work in their clients's homes -virtually ! In the future we hope to provide the option of both face-to-face and telehealth appointments. **You can request services via to following online booking form https://www.unisa.edu.au//commun/Appointment-Booking-Form/ or call 8302 0986.

22.01.2022 ALLY NETWORK UniSA has just launched their Ally Network a voluntary network of staff and students who are supporters of people of diverse genders, sexes, and sexualities. The establishment of the Ally Network will help to create a University culture of respect, inclusion, safety, and empowerment for gender and sexually diverse people. The Ally Network provide training to help staff and students understand how they can embrace, foster, and encourage the growth of this posit...ive culture. We encourage all staff and students to sign up to learn about how they can be more inclusive of all people in their interactions and practices. Image credit :

04.01.2022 WE ARE RETURNING ... The physiotherapy staff at Uni SA have started to return to working on campus this week. It is so nice to reconnect face to face with others (although at a socially safe distance!). It has been a challenging time for all, but the signs are there that we can start to return to "normal". But there is still a way to go.... Online teaching continues, but we are eagerly awaiting the go ahead to recommence teaching on campus. We know our students and staff are keen for face to face teaching, but, unfortunately hands on practical teaching, which makes up most of the physiotherapy program, and a pandemic, do not go well together! Thank you to our wonderful students for their patience and understanding during this time and the amazing way they have adapted to the ongoing changes! Keep it up! Here is some light relief for those times you just need a smile...
