25.01.2022 BUSINESS AS USUAL! What a rollercoaster the past few days have been As of Monday the 23rd November PhysioXtra Victor Harbor and myPod Podiatry will be back open as per normal! ... We will still be implementing strict social distancing guidlines and will be screening everybody that attends for an appointment to help ensure that every one that attends our clinic is well enough to do so. We ask that if you are unwell or have been in close proximity to those declared hotspots that you contact the clinic and reschedule your appointment. Well done SA for the efforts of the past 2 days. 23.01.2022 UPDATE REGARDING MASKS As per the updated Direction yesterday, from midnight Monday 30 Nov it will be mandatory for all people inside our clinic to wear a mask. This includes all healthcare providers, admin staff, patients and family members. (There are some exceptions such as people with certain breathing difficulties, mental health conditions, communication with deaf or hard of hearing community members, and children under the age of 12)... Please bring your own mask if you have one. We are quickly sourcing more surgical masks to be able to provide to patients if you do not have your own. Please message us here or call 8429 1810 from 8am this morning if you have any concerns or questions. Please be kind and remember: My mask protects you, your mask protects me.

22.01.2022 COVID UPDATE As of Thursday 19th November PhysioXtra Victor Harbor and myPod Podiatry Will be operating under Lockdown friendly conditions. ... We are deemed an essential service therefore have decided to remain open for those of you are suffering severe pain or need an emergency appointment. Between the hours of 8am-4pm. We will have only 1 Physio and 1 Podiatrist available at anytime to limit foot traffic through the clinic and ask that you arrive exactly on time for you appointment as to avoid time 'waiting' around. As it is not possible to socially distance during hands on treatment we ask that you, wear a face mask where ever possible. We have ample hand sanitiser within the clinic and measures in place to ensure there is not person to person contact. We hope you all stay safe in this uncertain time.

Sanitizer is at each entrance and infection control measures will continue to be implemented and be reinforced to staff and patients. 10.01.2022 Team Tuesdays Meet our legendary Physio Michelle. Michelle joined the team earlier this year but It is actually hard to believe that Michelle has only been with us for such a short time. Michelle has taken to her graduate Physio role like a duck to water and we are so pleased with how comfortable she is working as part of our Clinic family. ... Michelle graduated with a Masters of physiotherapy from Flinders University where she developed an interest in chronic pain and the power of exercise on recovery Michelle has a keen interest in all things clinical exercise (formerly Pilates), and rehabilitation (sports and general life niggles). Michelle has experience on and off the netball and football field, playing and working alongside the Yankalilla Football and Netball club in the local Great Southern association. Outside of work and sport, Michelle spends her time enjoying the outdoor offerings of the Fleurieu Peninsula (camping, hiking or anything in between), along with great family, good friends, and even better wine. 04.01.2022 COVID UPDATE As per confirmation from the APA this afternoon. We now sadly need to RETRACT our previous post. We will be CLOSED as of Midnight tonight reopening at the completion of the next 6 day Lockdown on Wednesday 25th. (How this will look with ongoing restriction we're unsure at this stage)... Our phones will hopefully be diverted and we ask that if you need to make an appointment for once we are reopen that you leave a msg and be patient! We are in this together everyone.
